Today I went to my writing group in the morning and read a little bit of my interactive fiction novel. The group really seemed to enjoy so that made me very happy. Then I went to work and when I got home I didn't have much free time, so I barely wrote anything at all. Daily Word Count: 488 Total Word Count: 40,163 Not a lot of words, but I am still very happy, because now I get to open up my 40K reward! This reward is something that I have really wanted for a very long time and I cannot tell you how happy I am now that I have it!

NaNoWriMo Vlog Day 23: Daily Word Count: 2,410 Total Word Count: 46,674 Forgot to update for the past couple of days but I have been writing. Come down with a bad case of burnout, but since I'm so close to hitting 50K, I'm definitely going to stick it out till the end of the month and then just relax over Christmas.
I didnt track my edits again... but I was working for a good three hours. I'll put this at 2k. Cave Stars-- Day 17-- 2k words total: 18,264
That's the Boatman's Code first draft complete at 110,709 so a whacking 7,176 words today to finish it off. I may go straight on to the third in series while i'm inspired

NaNoWriMo Vlog Day 26: Been really busy and I keep not getting round to updating, but I have been writing every day, I have been making videos every day and... Most important of all... I won!!! Daily Word Count: 2,252 Total Word Count: 51,892 I wrote 50,000 words in a month! Probably more than I've written in the past 4 years combined. Everybody clap for me and tell be how brilliant I am! Definitely going to tone it down from here. 1,667 words a day just isn't sustainable for me for long periods of time, but I think I'm going to try to keep up the habit of writing every day. Maybe aim for 500 words a day. That definitely seems achievable. Anyway, check out my cool new Book Nook! Can't wait to build it. It's going to be so fun!
If i had 4 days off and wrote 7.5k for the next 3 days (and today), I'd reach 50k The sad part is, i can do 7.5k.... if no one bothered me, and i didnt have to work. -sighs- i miss the Polar Vortex of 2019(?) city was closed for 4 days because of ice and subzero temps that it was dangerous to step outside. I finished half of the very first draft of Cave Stars that year (60k+ words)
NaNoWriMo Vlog Day 28: Been working on a song today! A very mature and sophisticated song made up of multiple sexual innuendos. Haven't quite finished it yet. I need a few more verses to tie the story together, but here is a little preview of the first verse and chorus. Please forgive my truly terrible attempt at an Irish accent.
