Hi. I'm new and jumping in, so the probability I'm going to screw this up is very high. I apologize in advance. I wrote a police procedural based on personal experience. That might work once. Maybe. But I really need to study the structure of the detective story before I start on the #2 in this series. I went to the Genre forum, but didn't see this one. Do y'all know of any articles or sites I should check out? It's not that Google doesn't work for me, it's that it works way too well and I'm wading through a morass of not helping me.
