You write a scene with no plot...

    That's kind of how I write. :p Random scenes plopped here and there, every so often I find out how to bridge them so I write that scene.

    I find writing to music can be both good and bad. Sometimes it provides great inspiration and other times it provides great inspiration about the topic you're listening to and does you no good for what your writing. I get trapped in cycles of writing the song topic on a tangent if I do it. And on an off note I've noticed depending on what I'm listening to usually heavy metal it screw with the pace of my writing I tend to write manically if I listen to music. So if you listen to music while typing and you write fast to whatever, make sure you really go back and fix your pace or test it for sure.
