One writing prompt I've always enjoyed is taking or making a sentence or two without any context, then writing a story from it. I thought it would be neat to create a thread to house these prompts so that when we want to write, yet feel stuck, we can visit, pull a quote, and write from that. You don't even have to share what you write! Just write. General courtesy would be to leave one if you take one, but I won't be smacking anyone's hand with a ruler about it. I'll give a few to start. - My mirror is crooked again. - What do you mean I can't get in? I was a good person! - Been on diet soda for a week, gotta wake up man. I should go back to crystal meth. Though at my age, it'll probably kill me. Have fun! Or don't, I'm not the fun police.
