A Fox

  1. I don't want to post my poem in the review room because I have not review anyone else's. This is just for fun. Don't critique this please.

A fox runs up the trail
With his red and orange tail
    Searching for food.

    A hunter holding his gun
    with his tall son
    Both searching for sport.

    The hunters see the fox
Crawl on top of some rocks
    They aim and fire

    The fox runs away
    leaving the hunters astray
    In the deep dark woods

    The hunters hunt
    "got nothing" they grunt
    Until they find the fox

    The fox had followed them
Wondering if they had a gem
    That he could steal.

    The fox saw nothing
    except the gun adjusting
    to kill him.

    He again got away
but he never got to play
the "steal stuff from hunters" game.

A fox runs up the trail
With his red and orange tail
    Searching for some food.

:-D I like it. It reminds me of the old Japanese folktales about tricky foxes.
