    If you write only for yourself, I wonder why you're offering it for critique?

    I haven't seen your writing, but much of the time when I see an author defend their writing because "It's my style!" or "It's my voice!" they're not actually willing to listen to feedback. They want their ego stroked.

    Also, this is nothing to do with you, but I HATE the term 'crit'. 'Critter' is even worse. Shudder.
