paying for writing courses

As i keep surfing the internet i keep coming across a company that is offering a full module course and if you dont make money you will get your money back. i just wondered if any of you have applied to one of these courses and if they can be trusted it looks legit but how will i know for sure.:confused:

    Well. There might be courses out there that are worth their money.

    But you can get just as good exercises, articles, feedback and guidance for free, if you do some work.

    Do some ore research. Look up you're local area.

    Within an hour there is a writing centre that has multiple courses (With ex publishing house/agents/writers) that do the same thing.

    I'm always a little wary of online things like this though. Google it and find some reviews and the likes.

    If it turns out good and you have the cash to support this, go for it.

    Thank you for the speedy replies, I am 54 pages into a story that i am currently writing I was just looking for inspiration and this company offers alot of modules for me to work at and see if i am writing the best to my ability and in the write catagory of fiction (they offer article,short story, novel etc).
    My son and i wrote a childrens story that we printed but its just for him as it is his idea but i did the typing for him and i really enjoyed doing it. but writing my stories and all these other ideas i have for stories in a file are begging me to write them too and i just needed that extra push to see if i am heading in the direction also my english teacher told me that i have to expand my vocabulary.
    I will keeping surfing though and get ratings on the site and company before i pay anything out its nearly three hundred pound so i want to be careful.
