harder than I thought...

  1. wow, it was harder than I thought to accept criticism, even on something that I think is really just scrap. Something I need to practise. I appreciate the point of the forums here but I can see that I'm more sensitive than I thought I was. I also wonder if I should be actually writing rather than writing about writing. I'm not sure right now. Hmm.

    Receiving a review the first time can be hard when they are telling you where you are going wrong. It can take time getting use to, don't worry. I was upset the first time I got a real critique, but got over it quickly and really developed my skills. And writing about writing isn't such a bad thing. Many of us do it! :)
