Recently decided to try joining an online writing forum, only to discover that LCD (least common denominator) law applies to all forums. Any forum, eventually, becomes a temple to one-up competitions, a haven for power mad administrators, and an outlet for time-wasters. I think the problem is with the flawed format of forums in general. A new model of idea sharing is required. Farewell, all of you actually creative writers, shame we did not get a chance to meet and share ideas. Perhaps we shall meet again, somewhere with more free flowing thought and hopefully fewer banner ads.
