I’m a 20 year old student, studying a Journalism, Creative Writing and English degree at University. I'm in my second year and have recently become very uncertain about where I want to go with my career.
I've always read and can remember from the age of 8 having an avid interest and excitement in fairy tales and popular children’s stories. When I was 11 and 12 we started doing short story sessions at primary school and my love for writing blossomed. In my teens I used the world of language to escape the troubles of adolescence and this is when I discovered the world of poetry.
Unfortunately, lately I’ve let the creative side of me fade away and I’m constantly having mental blocks when it comes to creating my own worlds and characters. I’m hoping that this website will get my creativity flowing again and inspire me to make my favourite pass time a successful living.
