Remodeled participant of education after dropping out of High School. Early teenage years working on my Uncles Farm, At the ripe old age of 17 committed for a three year stint in the US Army with the first half in Korea one year after the war. Did not learn my lesson there so two months after discharge reenlisted in the Coast Guard; found a home and stayed for 19 years to retire from the military after 22 years. Fast forward 10 years; spent another 21 years with the Coast Guard as a civil servant at the Traffic Control Center in Seattle.
Wrote plenty of policy, procedure, and proposals. Always waned to write but was afraid to because I just could not hook onto mechanics of writing.
Have had books, from research to fiction, stuck next to my nose since sitting high in an Oak tree with my first Zane Grey. That was in 1952 or so.
