I don't have any idea why, but I want to write.

I may drop it for a few days, months, sometimes even years, but I always find myself back.

I have no friends who feel the same, so getting motivated and hearing honest feedback were my main reasons for signing up. There were no interwebs back in the day, but I wish there had been. Mighta helped me keep my nose down and eyes forward - so to speak.

I'm an old, ugly man. You can't hurt my feelings, although you're welcome to try. Please be honest to the point of brutality. Don't worry, I can take it, it's why I'm here.

I'm alternately amazed and baffled by the power words have over people. As far as an art form goes; painting, sculpture, even well prepared food makes more sense to me, but I don't want to paint or sculpt. I would like to write.
At least sometimes (its that damn motivation thing again).

I am one hell of a cook though.
