I'm an aspiring writer. My motivation is money. I know, I know. "You should pursue art for the sake of art!" Fine. I can do that while I try to get paid for it. That might be a bit of a misnomer. My real motivation is to quit my job. But I need another source of income to do that. I service HVAC equipment. It's not much of a life, but it's a living.

I love cats. Dogs, too. But cats are the best and make more sense for someone like me. Dogs are like kids. They're fun to get riled up and play with, but eventually, I wanna give 'em back. I don't have any pets because of where I live, but I'm trying to change that. I don't have any kids, either and I'm not trying to change that.

Aside from currently not writing the best books that you'll never read, I enjoy the occasional video game to distract me from stubborn boredom and consider myself something of a "lore-hound". If there is a culture or a piece of fiction out there that you want to know some folklore or other tidbits, I can probably regale you with an interesting factoid or two. Otherwise, there are only a few subjects out there that I feel comfortable with enough to have my knowledge challenged. But I always prefer to have my knowledge expanded rather than challenged. I get so much more out of those exchanges.
