My name as you can see is Shannon Peel and I grew up in BC's recreational playground in Canada. I presently reside on the West Coast and although I may not enjoy the rain I do like everything else the most expensive place to live in North America has to offer.
I value intelligence and knowledge. A news story is never enough for me, I want to know the whys, hows, and whats of almost everything I hear to understand why people do what they do.
I want to be an activist and feel for those who have suffered at the hands of others. It is the stories of those who survive the horrors of life on this planet that make my heart ache to change things. To help spread awareness.
At almost 40 I find myself asking the questions of what do I want from life? What do I want to contribute to the world? I am driven to write to explore characters and perhaps one day tell an important story.
Presently I practice by writing stories to define characters but do have a novel in the works.
