I am a published writer (Arpeggios for the Modern Guitarist, Hal Leonard), guitarist/musician and software developer.
The thing I enjoy the most about writing is developing characters and bringing them to life. A great novel, to me, is all about the characters. If you feel an attachment to them, and want them to continue living through the written word, then you or the author is doing something right. Of course, everything else is important too, but the characters are the things that really suck me in. Building suspense is also very important too me. A good chapter is one that will create a struggle to put down the book.Interact
