Currently a student at University who is writing as a hobby despite wanting to explore it more, I have had little 'proper' instruction on creative writing given it is only a small portion of English and there were no writing clubs in my school.
My favourite kinds of stories are those that can create a full world of their own from back story to politics to the very beliefs of the people in it and I wish to some day create my own story in a similar vein as them. I am also very fond of fantasy stories, such as Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Skulduggery Pleasant and I have a very strong dislike for needless drama, stories that set out from the Beginning to be as dramatic a possible for no other reason than 'DRAMA!!!' granted I do not feel it makes theme bad, just not the stories for me.
