Depends. If she was pulled over for something she didn't do, she would argue, otherwise no. Would your MC rather have the Blue Screen of Death or the Red Screen of Death?sorry, sounds silly
She would rather have the blue screen, but she'd never see it because she's from 1992 and didn't have a computer in her house. Not a silly question at all, I got to learn about Windows 3.1x. How would your MC react to a ventriloquist trying to talk to them?
Keitsumah (the character not me) would stare at it in surprise and then back slowly away, Batos would quirk and eyebrow and ask what sort of Dark Spirit is posessing the puppet. How would your character react to falling through a portal into a mist-enshrouded land filled with ghosts -and they have three days to find a way out before they turn into a ghost as well?
That's an unpleasantly specific and restrictive scenario. MC A: Get out MC B: Get lost What does your character do to stay alert when their mind is wandering (boredom, fatigue, distractions, I'll let you choose the cause)
My MC has a wandering mind by nature, and she'd probably indulge in some substance to control the spinning thoughts. Which leads to my question, would your MC enable or shun an addict friend?
Most of my characters would help get the person out of that horrible addiction. Mike Wolfletter, however, wouldn't really care a whift, as long as the person wasn't puking his inners all over Mike. There's only one other character that I know of that would simply abandon the person to his/her fate. "They chose their nest. I'm not going to baby them like I'm their mother/father." What would happen if your character woke up to....yes....yet another zombie apocalypse. (Felt bad that my characters took all the other zombie questions, so I'll let your characters deal with this now.)
He'd break out the sword and plasma gun, and get both medieval and sci-fi on their zombie ass. After securing and establishing defenses around an outpost he would scour the Earth for survivors. Then he would diligently engineer a virus or nano-agent to kill off all of the zombies. Thus solving the problem forever. All of the computers in the world have irreversibly turned into jello over night. What would your MC do?(this may be the stupidest scenario yet)
FEAST! Puns regarding bytes and food for EVERYONE! Your MC has picked up a new bad habit. What is it and if they try to stop, how?
Nick: I allowed others too close to my heart, and it always hurt when they left it Chris: So what'd you do? Nick: *Takes a drag of his cigarette* I Got rid of it Your character just did something terrible what is it and how does he/she cope?
Sit there and try to come up with ideas to make up for it, but then just lie down and sleep it out Your character accidentally pushes somebody off Mt. Everest in front of another family and they don't believe that is was an accident and try to get your character arrested. What does your character do?
Climb back down and see how bad the damage is. Then run. Your MC is sitting in silence with friends. What do they do to break the silence? Do they break it at all?
No. Enjoying the silence is something you can only do with people you're truly comfortable. Your MC is shopping. Where are they when the zombie apocalypse inevitably occurs, what to they arm themselves with and what's the plan of action?
My MC is getting ripped off at a meal stand, due to his unfamiliarity with currency combined with the bigotry of the local shopkeepers. He arms himself with whatever he can find, and his plan is to find a bottleneck and keep things under control until it can be blocked off, or until the corpses stack so high that it becomes a barricade by itself. Your MC loses his/her most valued possession in a bet. What was the bet, what did (s)he lose, and how does (s)he plan on getting it back?
He bets his first dollar ever earned in a poker match and loses it to a close friend of his. To get his own back (as he's not too concerned with getting the actual dollar back, more that he's pissed off someone one-upped him.) he slowly takes apart his friends life from the inside out without ever letting on that it's him. He is only satisfied when his friend is destitute, homeless and penniless and begging him on his knees for help. When was the last time your character cried and why?
During 'March of the penguins'. He's been hunting the sea lions to extinction ever since. Your MC has been buried in concrete. The... buriers, I guess, it's not a word, but I believe it should be, have left him with just enough air for an hour. What would he do?
Your MC has been buried in concrete. The... buriers, I guess, it's not a word, but I believe it should be, have left him with just enough air for an hour. What would he do? Scream profanities and bash his fists against the concrete for a while. Then break down. Then think about how he's really actually for sure going to die this time, and how he'll never see his friends again, or see his son grow up, or see his mother or his girlfriend, nor is he ever going to be in a situation where he can obnoxiously eat caviar in front of rich people. Then he'll scream "F-CK THAT" and start throwing himself at the concrete again untill he passes out with a concussion and dies. Your charater (for whatever reason) is on death row. What is his/her last meal? (And don't cheat by picking something like a jackhammer.)
You mean meal, right? Chicken sausages, bacon, fried egg, french toast and ten pounds of everything and anything that'll get you high as a kite. It's not as if you have long to live. Your MC has been put in charge of fortress defences. What do they do?
She'd run it to the best of her abilities and try to acquire help when possible. Your MC walks out of a store and realizes the cashier gave half the amount of change back. What does your MC assume and do?
Tina would assume that the cashier was being incompetent and go back to get her correct amount of change. Not for her sake but rather to make sure the cashier didn't do it again to anyone else. A known murderer has just gotten out of prison and seeks out your MC hoping he/she has the answer to how they can redeem themselves. What does your MC say/do?
Keitsumah would tell them that actions define their lives -and that even though they have a bad past that if they show that they are changed then they can be redeemed. Your MC's closest family member/freind is brutally murdered and the culprit escapes. What would your MC do?
Fourty two years of anger arose at once as Veryn stood above his defeated adversary. Slit his throat and be done with it, he thought. Still, he could not bring himself to slay the once powerful Elf, the bringer of war and the cause of pain and torture to his own people. He turned to his companions with resolve and said, "Give him to the humans. They sought after him, they can decide his fate." Your MC is forced to help someone aquire an item against his/her will. How would they proceed?
That depends on why he doesn't want to help them. If it's because he doesn't want the person to get the object, or he just doesn't like the person, he'd pretend to help but sabotauge them at the same time. If he just really couldn't care less about the whole thing and would way rather be doing something else, he'd say absolutely nothing helpful whatsoever and make a general butt of himself until they let him go. After all, you really can't force someone to help you. If your character were given a one way ticket to a life of true happiness in a virtual reality, would they take it? There's no going back, nobody they know will ever see them again, but your character would see their friends and loved ones in the virtual reality, and once they're there they won't remember that what they're seeing isn't real. Long question. >.<
A wise man (I think?) once gave an answer to the effect of "Then what difference would my choice make?" None of my protagonists would accept such an offer - the contrast between cruel realities and pleasant delusions is one of my favourite themes. Force, diplomacy or deception. If your character knew that they could only choose once, what would they typically employ to achieve their ends?
