What compels you to write? Usually the desire to create a new world full of interesting characters, and to get other people as hooked and interested in them as I am. Moods also affect writing... funnily enough, when I'm super happy and energetic, I'm not the best at my writing, but if I'm upset, there always seems to be more depth to it than otherwise! Why do you write? It's a hobby... it's an expression as well and a fantastic vent, no matter what the kind of writing - if you feel angry, you can write battle scenes, or emotional, you can do romance... hacked off? Write a personal rant on a blog! What makes you write what you write? Ideas in my head. There are no external factors, really. What made you decide that you liked to write? It was one of the only things I could do when I was sick as a child. Anything sporty took too much energy - I could hardly walk up a hill, even though the year prior I was a competing champion in swimming competitions, competing in 50m freestyle, 200m freestyle and 100m butterfly. Writing and reading were the only things I became capable of - so I loved them both dearly. What Do You Write? Fantasy/fiction/sci-fi, personal blog posts, life posts... the odd recipe. I have always written in some capacity even as a little child, say, 2nd or 3rd grade. I started out writing and illustrating comic books. I then found out about how television and movies are scripted of course. I tried my hand at that and had, perhaps, a modicum of success. Now I have surrendered to writing for myself. I've really never had a choice as to write or not. I always have written in some fashion. I write because it is cathartic; it keeps me sane. What compells you to write? The arts seem to be only talent. The only A* I ever got was in English GCSE. I should take the hint. Why do you write? I need to show the world what I can do. I've been stuck in silence for too long. Apart from that, writing is like therapy for me. What makes you write what you write? There are so many problems in this world that need fixing. I want some readers to be able to relate to the characters in my books. What Made you decide you liked to write? I've seen the power that a single book can do. What Do You Write? Loads of themes. Mainly animals and Spirituality. The theme of my first few chapters is bullying, sexism, mainly inequality stuff. I like the internal battle between Light and Darkness, so you'll be seeing quite a lot of that throughout the story.

What compells you to write? I've always enjoyed reading, and admired authors who have the ability to create entire worlds. Why do you write? I have received countless hours of enjoyment from reading, and would love to be able to provide that enjoyment to someone else if I'm able. What makes you write what you write? I try to write what I want to read. I try to write stories like Kevin Smith (Clerks, Dogma) talks about writing movies. He talks about nobody was making movies that he wanted to watch, so he made movies that he would have wanted others to make. What Made you decide you liked to write? Not sure that anything made me decide that I liked it. Much like drawing, I just enjoy it. I know I'm not the best at it, but I enjoy it, and hopefully so will others. What Do You Write? Tried writing a few novels that weren't very well laid out, and ended up being short stories or just completely fell apart. I now have a well developed outline (in my opinion ) for a novel that I hope will pan out much better. Still need to research some elements of the story to make sure they aren't too far fetched, but I think it will turn out well. One half murder mystery/suspense, one half racing championship.
Personally, I am still trying to figure it all out. But I know that writing connects me to a larger world. A world far beyond anything I can imagine. It also helps me learn more about myself.
What compells you to write? Wanting to clear my head by putting my thoughts on paper, also to materialize any ideas I currently have. Plus it is an amazing escape from the outside world. Why do you write? Reiterate above, also I feel like I'm accomplishing something by giving form to my thoughts. What makes you write what you write? I am very introspective and introverted (to the extreme), I also find myself to be nauseatingly analytical and by writing down my observations and stringing concepts together it calms the bees in my head which just keep buzzing and buzzing and buzzing. What Made you decide you liked to write? Once I sat down and wrote something from the heart it just felt like such a release, it is addictive and my compass when I am feeling lost. It gives me perspective by anchoring me down instead of allowing myself to be battered about by the tumultuous seas of everyday life. What Do You Write? Criticisms, I try my hand at satire and poetry but I'm a novice (getting ready to post some of my attempts on the forums actually), comments on the works of ancient philosophers, summaries of histories and (what I enjoy most) venting my darker, more hidden, feelings which I don't share with anybody else and can finally give form.
What compels you to write? Stories and characters I have in my head. The need to exercise my brain in a different way each day. Why do you write? Because for once in my life, I've found something that fits. Something that clicks with my personality and allows me to express a creative side I never acknowledged before. I just have nothing better to do sometimes... I usually binge when I write, writing 15-25 poems in a matter of days as a means to get everything out, then I have a dry spell for a couple of months but that's all a part of my process.
I think my answers to each question are very similar. In short, I really don't know what else I would do with my life. When I get up in the morning, I can wash the dishes or write. Writing is more important, more interesting and more stimulating than anything else I've done before.

I just like making great stories (well I try) and make up my own fantasy or based on my real life. Sometimes when I write about my life that happened, I'll sometimes invent some parts to try and make the stories I make interesting. I also get ideas from what happened in the world so far. I usually try to get ideas from my life, friends and families' lives, or (like I said earlier) the world, what good or bad thing that happened. I started to write because since I used to like writing about things that really hit my head, I would have to get a writing class (to get a certificate) and when I would turn in my work, I would get a comment from the professor that I am one of the ones who really get into writing and really put effort on it. I eventually out of nowhere, started thinking about getting a writing job or if I could, a story writer.
What compels you to write? I just always have. I started writing when I was eight and never really stopped. I've had times where life has gotten in the way and writing has hit the back burner, but it always pushes its way into my life at some point. It's just part of who I am, so I guess I compel me. I write what I like to read and what interests me. Any time that I've attempted to write something in an off genre I've found it too difficult for somewhat obvious reasons. I was young and I found it enjoyable. Grammar and spelling always came natural to me, so I think that helped make the writing process a lot easier. For the most part, I write (poetry and editorial-type writings) to convey a message or to create a mental picture of something that has impacted me on some level. I am often inspired by synchronicity in my everyday life, or by a painting or photograph and enjoy using words to attempt to replicate the emotions that result from these encounters.
What compels you to write? Indiana Jones. Why do you write? Out of curiosity, and to pass the time. What makes you write what you write? The toilet. I call it "The Chair of Inspiration". Strangely enough, I had to think about the answers even though it would stand to reason they would be easy responses. Why am I compelled to write? It is an irrational notion that putting pen to paper will somehow magically transform what I know to be reality. Why do write? Simply because I am compelled to do so, no other reason. Although the immediate catharsis it brings, however fleeting, is probably close. What makes you write what you write? The urge to explain myself on paper. The need to have the last word. What compells you to write? Boredom, feeling alone, the idea stays in my head too long and I have to write it. Why do you write? Becuase I like the genre of what I write, and I haven't seen a familiar story anywhere. What Made you decide you liked to write? I don't know if I like to write, if I liked it, I would be writing way more than I do now. What Do You Write? Currently focousing on a script that mainly fits for a TV show. It's about the life of a young heist planner that is connected to the mob, the way he hides it's true job from his close people and especially his love.
