I've been writing fanfiction for about seven years now and I recently found the first fan fiction I ever wrote, (no I will not share it) it was a Harry Potter fan fiction detailing the misadventures of a group of four Hogwarts students in a slice-of-life type story. It got me curious about what others first stories where.
Hi ya. I honestly haven't written any fanfiction but if I did it would have to be based off of one of Gene Roddenberry's creations like the Andromeda series. I really like his style.
I started writing out fanfiction about bands I liked at the moment. But every once in a while I'll still write a one-shot about bands, movies or tv-shows. But nothing in particular. Just whatever gives me an idea.
I wrote an X-Files fanfic about 16 years ago called Donation. I didn't write another thing again for 10 years, when I started writing Glee fabric and wrote over 30 stories in 3 years.
I believe I wrote a Harry Potter fan-fiction for homework. The more amusing part is when I had to read it in front of class and most of class-mates didn't know squat of Harry Potter. Truly, the work of art I wrote was cringe-worthy and I threw the paper away. Looking back on it--I would've loved to burn it. After that? I didn't write no more. This was like 10 years back when I was still a twat kid.
My first fanfic I wrote was a series of poems for the original Yugioh series XD. Back then I was super proud of them, but I doubt I would feel the same now.
My first fan fiction was a story about a lion character on an old muck I used to RP on called the LION KING MUCK. I was once son of KING MTUNGA - who was chif of the Land of the Black Rainbow Pride, later became the big pride UTATU after the move. My lion character was adopted by Mtunga and raised by him. I ended up betraying the pride by attacking my brother Wabi (a adopted panther) in a fit of rage, when my character wasn't myself. (Kurabi) (my char) - ended up getting exiled by the Utatu pride.....((I left the game shortly after that) so I dont know where it ended. But I came up with an idea for a FANTASY story related to my character. I made my char the main protagonist in the story - and started hm out as a cub. in a anthromorphic (two legged upright animals) - land (So they could handle weapons and such) since it would be fantasy. Anyway the story revolves around my character's life and how he like Simba was forced to flee for his life but became a better lion for it in the end. The title of the script is called RED SKY OVER KILIMANJARO. it basically follows my characters life, but I placed him in a Fantasy setting. =)
its supposed to be a animation screenplay - I have about 3/4 of it finished. like half my other stuff ;-) lol
I would not call mine so much a Fan-Fic, as more a retaliatory crossover universe fiction. It was in response to a rather unsettling BDSM Erotica that really pushed a few tender buttons. So I figured the unknown male jerk from that story needed to be punished, and the female MC needed a bit of medical care and TLC. So who better to send off and deal with this situation than my MC Corlixia Burvonn of course. Sadly even though mine is based in Sci-fi, it is quite a bit more accurate at addressing the real medical problems that the woman from the other story had gone through. Turns out the 'realism' the other author was going for fell severely short in terms of what it boasted. Also it was way too in love with torturing the poor woman to actually address the concerns that she would not only have severe PTSD and trauma, but she would have had infections at piercing sites, as well as some other nasty infections due to what the dick had done to her. Pretty bad when you feel the need to respond in kind and try and write a better ending for a character that is in a blatantly bad position. And then expend a little dark justice on the perpetrator in kind.
I wrote quite a bit of fanfic in my creative writing course in eighth grade for writing prompts... I always thought it was a little clever to attach the writing prompts to a specific fandom whenever possible... Although I was perfectly happy to write original stories as well, especially funny ones. But the first proper fanfic I can remember was one I posted in the workshop called Droid Thoughts. I wrote it a couple months a while back. It revisits a scene from The Empire Strikes Back.
When I was about 12 my friend started a Charmed fan site. It was the early 2000s when everybody had a Geocities or Tripod site (remember those?). She asked me to write something for it, so I wrote a fanfic. The site is, of course, defunct, and I didn't keep a copy, but I remember it was about Paige becoming accepted by the other two sisters. That was my one and only foray into the world of fanfic.
I have so many fond memories of those sites back when I was a huge X-Files geek. Ahhhhh, the endless fall into WebRings...those were the days.
I still have a big box of memorabilia that I can't bear to part with - VHS tapes, action figures, promotional materials, the issue of Playgirl with David Duchovney in it...
And the issue of Maxim with Gillian Anderson on the cover... I was about fourteen, fifteen at the time so... um... never mind...
You know, I've really tried to like X-files, but I cannot take David Duchovny seriously in any role he plays. He's an abomination of an actor. I just can't do it.
I was watching Nightmare on Elm Street and Halloween (the original, not the Rob Zombie abomination) when I was 8, and the one thing that managed to scare me was an episode of the X Files where some parasitic alien things came up out of the plug hole into people's bathwater and infected them or killed them or something. I was 25 before I felt comfortable taking the plug out before getting out of the bath.
a small song fanfic titled 'Sailor Senshi on my Street' which was a crossover of Sailor Moon and Passions
"Last Run," a piece of Polar Express anti-fan fiction. My curriculum requires that I watch Polar Express two to four times a year, all in the same week, so I got incredibly sick of those little uncanny valley monsters and their insipid singing and decided to.... Well, it's posted in this very forum, go take a look
Hmm. I've started at least two, but didn't finish them. My first one was an untitled spin off of the Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series. My second was...*blushes* a Harry Potter fanfic, where I was a transfer student to Hogwarts from America. I'm a dork.
I have vague recollections of writing a story based on the TV show V, the original 80s show, not the reboot, when I was about 8 years old. The first I completed was a Highlander/Quantum Leap crossover for a fandom contest. It may or may not have fixed certain elements in the Highlander End Game movie. (The Highlander movie sequel that wasn't horrible.)
