Chloe from Life is Strange... Though I also do have turquoise hair irl. Let's just pretend she's the cooler version of me. NO EMOJI!
I don't really know why I like this one. I use it for every avatar I have. Mostly just because I was looking around for profile pics, and thought an alien might be cool. This one came up and I thought "Yes". The image is kind of serene, even if it does include a monster of extreme violence. If we want to get symbolistic up in this, it's kind of interesting because it shows the peace of meditating clashing with an inherently chaotic being. Peace in chaos. That's not why I picked it, but I the thought has occurred.(obviously)
Motivation to keep me going. Been tempted to change it several times, but I think I need to keep seeing that quote. If I ever do change it, think I'll throw the quote into my signature.
Akko face is legendary. My new one is the character Sunny wearing Sunglasses from the Series of Unfortunate events. Think I'll be keeping this one for a long while.
What do you think of the Netflix series? They add so much but they stay so faithful to the source material. I believe Lemony Snicket is personally overseeing its production.
Mine is from Rudyard Kipling's 'The cat who walked by himself'. I adore this story, for the cleverness of the cat, for his independence, and for the lesson that independence costs a price.
Pretty self explanatory. Some fan art depicting one of my favorite episodes from the amazing show, Black Mirror. It's Lacey from Nosedive in comic book form with crazy eyes and her beloved phone.
Mine current one's a crop of art I found years ago and semi-recently found while trawling for content for my prompt/inspiration blog. Spoiler: full version (some blood) The artist uses a different handle now and I think a quite different style. There's a set of at least four pieces with these characters, though, and I love'em.
First things first, I am lazy. Second thing, I like things or projects to have significance even if they don't really make much sense to anybody else. A little over a week ago I started gathering ideas for my first novel. I looked into e-books and realized it was too expensive for me since you have to have an editor for your books to really make it high quality; therefore people want to buy it more than an unedited book, and also I realized that I would have to pay someone to make a fairly decent book cover for my story because my editing skills are terrible. It was just to expensive for me to write an e-book because there was more to it then just writing a nice fairy-tale of some sort. In the middle of this realization I was browsing some inspiration photos; I thought of a title for an small passage I wrote several years ago that was about a biracial girl who travels to Japan as an exchange student. She is on a train back to an airport to go back to America realizing she has feelings for another girl who doesn't know her true feelings. She doesn't want to regret never letting her girlfriend know she loved her but she doesn't know if she can accept rejection. I thought of a title for this passage, if it where a novel. I thought "A girl worth fighting for" was a good title but then I remembered it was from Mulan the Disney movie. I still kind of liked the title and while I was browsing images on Pixabay I found my avatar. It is inspired by an excerpt I wrote several years ago, it is what started me into writing more lengthy stories.
Well isn't it obvious by now... Though I am sure at some point I will move on to a new theme, but I am kinda in love with the current one. (Just glad the others let me hang out here.)
Part of the cover picture from "Waldo the Incubus" which is the first of the Waldo series. The picture features a dead naked woman and blue-footed boobies. What more could you want?
Since Halloween has taken over the store I work at - I thought I'd go for something creepy for October. ...after going through all my creepy pictures, I realized that none of them worked in small profile-picture-form. No creepy dolls, eyeless or dead teddies for you! Since I'm vain I went for a nice little selfie. Halloween 2011. Good year. Was stalked by a clown. Six years later - the clown still hasn't left. PLZ SEND FOR HELP.
Myself and another creator of the universe we're making together decided we wanted a symbol for Technomancy, a key part of our worldbuilding, and we wanted something we could modify for each form of technomancy. I really liked the standard triqueta we used, so I've been using it for profile pictures.
Of course it's one of the Knights or the Round Table. Either that or it's from some obscure comedy troupe
Perhaps I should post a picture of my doll collection? (I wish I could get them all into one shot...)
Bravely bold Sir Robin, rode forth from Camelot He was not afraid to die, oh Brave Sir Robin! He was not at all afraid to be killed in nasty ways, Brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Robin....
