Just realising that it is already Saturday, which means I have to go shopping tomorrow. In other news, I have set up my new vacuum.
Drinking a sparkling water and gearing up to do my daily exercises (can't call it a workout with vertigo). A load of laundry is in the dryer, and I have a fuckload of stuff to do today.
I used to love Oreos, but then they started introducing all these stupid flavours, and 'thin' Oreos, and now not even the original, normal ones taste like they used to.
Thin Oreos....cause we needed a "healthy junk food" snack, right? They might as well just write "We gave you half the product for the same price, sucker, thanks for the money" on the label. On topic: I'm going to bed early. Spent a good part of last night/this morning chatting up good company, forgetting to sleep and now, after a semi-long lunch shift, I'm tired.
Drinking a chilled glass of orange juice, had coffee, and am contemplating making pancakes with strawberries for breakfast. The jury's still out on that one, but the strawberries I got yesterday look amazing. Then I need finish rewriting my current chapter and finish cleaning the livingroom, both of which I started last night but was too tired and ended up going to bed early instead.
Some of them are good. The red velvet ones are too rich; you can eat maybe four or five before you start feeling sick. The apple pie ones were real good- apple / cinnimon filling on graham cracker cookies. The double chocolate/ double stuff oreos are awesome. Then there was the pumpkin pie oreos- those were gross. I’m not sure who they asked how close to a real pie they were on that one, but the package I bought tasted closer to raw pumpkin than pumpkin pie.
. . ;_ I'm in the UK so we get approximately none of those flavours. Aside from Original we get Thins, Peanut Butter, and some golden colour ones (not sure what flavour they are). Like I say I used to love the regular ones. The biscuit part had a deep chocolatey flavour all of its own. Don't know why, but they just don't taste the same any more. Although it's a long long time since I ate them, so I think in the interest of science I need to buy a pack and try them again.
Ditto, I don't have a clue what you guys are talking about. We get Oreos, v1.0, and that's it. Kit-Kat bars, on the other hand:
I'm shivering at my table, whilst putting off the inevitable late dinner making! Does that make sense as a sentence? I'm too tired to work it out.
We don't even get those in the US, and I'm dying to, because I love lemon and chocolate together. I can get one via Amazon for $5 plus $8 shipping US, and it's hot here, so they'd arrive melted.
