In Japan, they decided that word was too hard, so all-you-can-eat buffets are バイキング (Viking) style. Sorry, that reads like what happens if you rub Freda the right way...
So my two girls (5 and 8) both play softball. This is their first time playing on the same team. The previous 9U coach's daughter moved up to the next age bracket so my wife and I took over coaching this fall. Sunday was the first game of the fall season. We won 16-15. Couldn't be prouder.
I came across a 450g bag of sweetner for only 1.99 today, when I wasn't even looking for it. That made me happy. If there are any more in the same store tomorrow, I will get them too. (I have been wanting to try out sugar free baking for a while, but the prices were off-putting.)
I forgot to mention another happy event. I finally got myself an SD card reader (2 euro), which means that I have now emptied my cameras memory card onto the dino-top. This is much cheaper than buying a new memory card, so that's another thing to be happy about.
Just got word back from the local clinic that I have no unsavory infections. Not that I was terribly worried, but I did just spend a lot of time in a place where things like MRSA are a public safety concern, so still pretty happy about it.
Sorry, Ash, the DJ in my head queued this up: Spoiler: Damn and blast that DJ... Also, here's a Swedish chick named Frida: Spoiler: Because some files are huge! From ABBA!
Bloody hell. I haven't laughed so hard in a while, at least since last night anyway. Great comedy in this thread recently!
we are talking about fredagysms and whether that's swedish for Friday orgasm ... the smart money says it is , except that @Lemie seems to like to have her whole family round to watch, which is ...open minded
One of my D&D players wrote a vignette for their character, and I'm still smiling stupidly over it. Shout-out to @izzybot for being the coolest. I wrote him a "love note" from an NPC, and in response he wrote a vignette about his character reading and reacting to the note. https://thegraverunnersguild.wikia.com/wiki/Hansel (We have a whole wiki now.) I've written things for players before (like journal entries, fake documents, letters from NPCs, in-character love poems, history book excerpts) but I've never had one write something back. This is the first time I've played with other writers.
