Don't worry, your secret forum-ing is safe with me. Wait, wait, I need to wrap that in spoilers! Lucifer's left testicle! Be distracted by a cute kitten!
Well, progress is not as slow as I thought it would be. Finished part 1 in editing, however it is a short part. Just three more parts and an epilogue to go!
Got rid of the cheap hand beater that I was using before I got the stand mixer via Freegle. Gave it away to someone who said she was a budding baker who was getting worn down by hand bearing everything. Felt pretty good.
On the plus side in group today it turns out their is a lot of complexity in my story, which is great. Needs a bit more realism in the ouch my lung still hurts after surgery bit. But I did manage to make a touching moment work, despite needing to change it a tiny bit to make it more realistic. However, due to it being so rough shod it did have a bit more 'stage direction' and more tell than show. Though to be fair it was a part I had reworked to make Marckus not come off as a whiny asshole.
1. Our new coop came in! 2. It's purple! 3. My class also started and I forgot it's a writing intensive, capstone course. I'm not looking forward to this.
I initially misread this as poop. I can only say that for me it has just turned midnight, and so this must be the result of me having turned into a pumpkin.
It's finally Friday. Since I worked Sunday this has been an extra long work week for me and I really need to just relax for a while. I'm still working today, but in about ten hours I can just collapse in my sofa and not get up until Monday morning (that a lie, but a lie I'll keep telling myself all day.) Less happiness thread -----> Feels weird that it's been an entire week since Lost's last day in Sweden... Around 90 days left until next time I see him.
Since people know I love to write, I get a lot of notebooks as gifts or when people get them as freebies from shows/trade conventions they get given to me. Combined with buying them, I have a lot of notebooks. My workplace's caretaker commented about one I brought to my current job on my first day, on which I write processes and advice I am given that I think may be useful. One time, the caretaker was complimenting it and he said he needed a new notebook for his work with his Church. Having a lot of nice ones going spare after a show my bf went to, I came in today with a leather-feel one with an elasticated ring for a pen. He smiled like a kid at Christmas.
Today I achieved the following; 1-Did a load of laundry 2-Had a bath 3-Did some washing up 4-Went to the GP, got a prescription, and a referral to a specialist 5-Redeemed said prescription, and only paid 2 euro for it. 6-Bought a stocking filler 7-Came up with a card idea 8-Collected my money.
Got my bone marrow donor card. I can't donate blood, platelets, or anything else, but I can at least donate this
Time flies! Already seven months in the madness that's a long distance relationship. How about I don't let you go back to England the next time, @LostThePlot?
While I was brainstorming for my novel I, naturally, had an idea for a short horror story. Because, you know, that's how writing works. Working on it now and hoping to have it done by the end of the day.
