Watching my dog lick himself like a cat. He licks his tufted paws, and wipes his face and ears, then grooms his fur. Oh, and he's not a poodle or such, he's a sixty-five pound chocolate Kelpy-lab, with a tongue the length of my arm. Smear a little flavor on a battleship, he'll strip the paint down to bare metal. Sounds like a flounder slapping a hippopotamus.

Thanks for supplying the flounder/hippo image. It's important to our understanding, and we're all familiar with flounders slapping hippopotamuses. Because, hey, who isn't?

Flounder slapping a hippo. I know exactly what that sounds like. I once lived with a dog (not mine) whose main occupation besides escaping through doors and windows we thought were closed, and eating everything in sight, including my Polaroid camera, was sitting the middle of the floor, constantly licking at his balls with great gusto. Clop clop clop clop clop clop clopclop clop clop We used to play music to drown him out.

Oh god, flashbacks to that one young lady my roomie hooked up with back in 89.... "Nah, I think he's asleep, I don't mind."

Kelpy is part Dingo, so he meows like a cat, then barks like TyrannasaurusShepardus! That's my doggie!

Staying up all night, working on projects like always, while enjoying the lovely banter in this thread. Also getting back into writing which is good.

They used to have AudioVisions on XM Radio. I recorded two years of 24/7, awesome, sonic stimulation.

There was a piece I can't quite remember the name of. It had synth of things flying by... "Objects..." something or other?

hmm - I know Chariots of Fire was a very synth heavy album so it could have been something off that - if not the song itself though I doubt it. Chariots of First is a very well known piece.
But really he has so much work out there its difficult to say without hearing it.

I like so much different stuff that I don't even know what genre half of it is in! :bigconfused:

Try a listen to Pure And Easy by the DiningRooms, and tell me there's even a genre for it?

I have long since given up on genre when it comes to music... good music is not so easily defined I think.

Having said that, I am on a blues kick today

Wild thought - It made me think of The Doors, for no reason at all. Maybe that chaotic mood at the end.

Yeah we got nothing on the old-school bluesman.

Imagine a solo by Carlos Guitarlos (Santana) then stretch it out like a warp sequence. Then listen to The Golden Needle

Unwinding from a cold, chaotic, and tiring day while planning out my next few days in my head. Not getting as much as i`d like done and will forever be wildly behind but I`m settling into a well enough routine. Hopefully it gets me through the next few busy days.

Watching college girls in Halloween costumes line up at the bar across the street. One large girl in a devil suit is already crying, which will likely be the highlight of my night.

(Yes, I'm a bad person and going straight to hell)
