    My new clock arrived today! It's not quite the same as the old one but it's pretty close and it's nice to finally have something to fill the gap on my bedside table and to not have to fish for my phone every time I want to know the time.

    We were talking about getting one of those half-Christmas trees that start halfway up the pole for people who have cats, since this will be our first Christmas with the puss puss, but knowing him he'll probably just give it a long, hard look and then head upstairs for a nice little sleep.
