It hurts too much for me to even dare to touch it. Hair washing is real fun as a result. It was squeezing it originally to drain it out that got me into this mess. Lesson hard learned, by jove. Can I order leeches on amazon? And, I'm sure putting a duck on my head will help no end. ETA: ETA2: To be fair, I do look pretty happy with a mallard on my head...!
But the original reason I came to this thread today was for a different post entirely, which is this. https://www.msn.com/en-ie/news/newsireland/a-woman-with-a-fatal-foetal-diagnosis-was-refused-an-abortion-at-a-dublin-hospital-d%C3%A1il-told/ar-BBSn1wo?li=BBr5KbJ&ocid=mailsignout
You do! You could totally pull off one of those outlandish Victorian (Edwardian?) hats with the taxidermied birds on them. (Not that I approve of taxidermied birds of course. You could get fake ones.) Victorian / Edwardian clothing and hats are hard to do, so that's quite a compliment. Maybe after the owie is gone, though. Some of those hats look painful.
Pretty darn cold, especially since absolute zero is -273.15 C. Are you sure you don't mean Fahrenheit?
But there is no -387 C. You can go down to -273.15, but no colder. The molecules have all stopped moving and stuff.
I had dinner late last night, which means I went to bed late last night. This means I was tired today, and I fell asleep just before dinner time when I should have just made dinner. It's half past midnight and I've just woken up. This means that dinner will be late, so I will go to bed late (according to schedule I should have gone by now)...
It's taking all my will not to simply explode at some people. That would be counterproductive. There are some employees at my workplace who feel that they're being treated unfairly by the best company it's been my privilege to work for in thirty years of adult employment, so their solution is to try and get one of the unions involved to destroy the company. Once we're all out of work, we can spend our savings to join said union, and they'll try and get us our jobs back at a competitor's firm, at lower pay. Win-win, right? The solutions to this problem that are running through my head at the moment are... not constructive.
My neck and back are killing me. 4-5 hours hunched over my tablet, which was sitting in front of my desktop monitor, working on those damn grades. Time to leave the rest for tomorrow.
