There was this festival we went to every year, and one year, someone called Alan got lost on the way back to the tents. So someone kept calling out for him and then other people up and down the stream of people joined in. Then every year it became a tradition to head back to the tents yelling "Alan! Alan! Alan!" My dad's called Alan, so it was not helpful. My contribution is that I changed my Facebook profile picture from the one I've had since I joined in early 2017 (might have been around the same time I joined WF, actually, to within a few days) and my crush gave it a heart!
Is finally got cool enough that I can sit outside the car, in the shade at the guard shack!! I'll leave enough, time doesn't go by too slowly
Sounds like my place. My property, in season, is regularly visited by four black-tailed deer, whole boatloads of assorted birds, and my lawn has hares all over it - I've seen six or seven at a time. Just down the road there's a farm that gets heaps of trumpeter swans regularly. I've also seen a bobcat on my land, and my neighbor gets elk in her yard. I'm looking forward to seeing elk in my yard, too, but on my side of the highway it's legal to hunt them, so maybe they all got wise and moved to her place.
Finally getting warm enough, here. --- Getting the S10 later today. Wonder how many sneak-thieves are going to try and pull a fast one on me. "Hey man, can I charge my phone with your phone? I'll give it back when I'm done, I swear." I also want to watch two people with the S10 battle-to-the-death when they're both at 1%.
I can’t believe I’ve lived in the South for 30 years and not once have I had crawfish until yesterday at the cookout. It’s so good! :O Looking forward to the next time I eat crawfish.
It's actually warm enough for me to put the airer out without me worrying it will get soaked or blown away. Happy days.
Funfair tomorrow! I'm a tad childish, but I love going to the sort of funfairs with markets and stuff. Better up - this one has a Steampunk theme.
That sounds fun! Nothing wrong with bringing out your inner child. One of the the "youngest" (and wisest) people I knew is an 84 year-old who loves a good party and attends all the ones thrown by my 30 year-old neighbors. She's in fantastic shape and still rides horses and does pilates and yoga every day, and you'd never know she was in her 80's. I honestly think it's because she's never lost her marvelous sense of fun.
A Drose.... Horgon... Dorse... Drahorse.... I dont know i'm using poke'man logic here in my naming convientions. let's not forget the fable Hores armor.
Spent a great day with the Mrs. We don’t get a whole lot of days off together, so when we do we go all out to make them count.
