Pondering if scoffing an entire Toblerone in one day was a good idea. I think the Twiglets disagreed with the Toblerone. One's sharp and savoury, the other is sweet and chocolaty - they should be best friends, dammit!

I`m not really sure. Happy boxing day to all. Got right back to the grind and had work today. Deep cleaning, while sick/losing my voice, and working with a newish person who....they were fine they were nice but...Jesus they made things a lot harder. I just don`t like to work with people, I don`t like people. Work went....as good as it could. Got off work, came home my boxing day plans where to go down to an annual concert but no way to get there and no uber out plus slightly sick so staying home. The keyboard has been sitting in the corner unused was staring at it and thinking maybe it`d be a good time....then I walked away to stare at the food in the cupboard thinking it`d be good to cook something....then I walked away and just watched a Twitch stream for an hour then posted this. Which took another hour listening to music and getting caught up in that.

    Productive boxing day here folks.

Gotta change my laundry now probably and should cook something. Maybe I`ll sit down and play/practice a bit after that. Maybe not, kinda wanna watch the Bill Murray Christmas special on Netflix...it`s boxing day it`s close enough. Maybe I should save it to look forward to next year.

I hate trying to plan things out and build routines up around them and then having the plans get shook. I think I get stuck on the plans too much and there`s no wiggle room when they don`t go over.

You made me google what boxing day means. I originally thought that there was an annual boxing match between the titans. Then I thought that you meant that you would box train today, but then figured that this had nothing to do with the rest. Then I thought that it maybe meant some kind of migratory, annual festivity. (Boxing = Putting your stuff into boxes, packing to leave).

Good to know I was light years away from what it actually means. Anyhow, not that it matters since I got no box from my master... I don't have a master though... Poor me.

Yes, us lucky brits get a special day the day after christmas day, too. We don't get thanksgiving though, so it evens out. :)

    1:45am.
Physically relaxed and soulfully chilled as I contemplate the productive year ahead and the new elements I'll be venturing within.
    Sippin coffee.
Listening to Brian Eno - New Space Music.
Smiling as I think of the baby possoms forraging around the back tree I saw a few moments ago, and one of their parents watching over them.
Looking forward to the January grammar cleanup of me book and reducing a number of chapters into one, then finding publishers and sending transcripts off to them.

You took it right back to the roots there. Anymore it`s just the day after Christmas. Americans don`t really do it but hey I still use the term. You can`t take it from me you Brits. Canada and etc does it to.

Very slowly picking at a salad and watching yet another Twitch stream. Really into Lillypichu atm. Work went well today happy to be off for tomorrow. I managed to finish my last room for the day before the power went out...on my floor alone.....and only in the rooms. It was odd. After I finish this salad probably gonna go and do some self-care stuff before coming back maybe finally replaying to my therapist and doing a junk draw post.

Feeling good tonight hope I don`t waste it.

Well, we're slowly trundling toward getting Thanksgiving, too, I should add. Until 2-3 years ago, we never had Black Friday. Now we do. BF sales, x-mas sales, boxing day sales and new year sales........ anyone would think someone was trying to sell us stuff.

IDK. Pondering why they have Valentines day crap out when we haven't
even made it out of this year yet.
Suppose somebody doesn't mind waxy chocolates for the middle of February. o_O

I remember reading or hearing sometime earlier this year that Harrods opened its Christmas department in something like April or June.

It's at the point when you have to ask - why do they bother even putting the stuff away? Sell Valentines, Halloween and X-Mas stuff all year round and be done with it!

Learning about the dangers of random YT Cooking channels.
(My fave is the strawberries in bleach recipe, and no I am not
going to try it.) This lady is nice enough to point out these
rather dangerous cooking concoctions, and that is kind neat. :)

I love her videos! She did one about a spun sugar video where they spun hot caramel over spinning mixer beaters and proved you could seriously injure yourself with doing it that way. I like how she's polite about her criticisms, too.

    --

I'm about to go over some older writing and then pass out. Eye exam at 9 in the morning, and then Christmas celebrations with my father. Baby niece will be there. She's taken to doing a dramatic pose, think swooning without the swoon, and it's adorable.

Just experienced Greta Thunburg for the first time...
    I can't figure it out.
Do those with political agendas think their latest PR actor ( for the issue of global warming) has a shred of authenticity; do they really think this will persuede folks, or are they that desperate to convince folks.
Or are they using this to convince folks that humans are not the cause.
Is it some bizarre form of reverse psychology.
Or is it a psych test to see what the majority will believe, thus helps them to organise their future plans.

About to be late for that eye exam, haha! WHY am I like this?

In the dramatic action of my niece, because I must be.

Finished a late breakfast while booking hotel reservations. Things are fooking expensive. Thankfully the wife is paying for it, but it's still too pricey for my beer budget. We're so not making this a yearly thing. Nuh'uh.

Today I'll read and relax. Festivities are over for a bit, so it'll be nice to have some downtime. What with New Years right around the corner...better get ready to drink....

After an easy living week of staying in or going from house to house, I decided that it was time to go out and trash myself. Mission accomplished. I got a massive headache now and I think I'm sick. I had a good time though.

Waiting for the feast of Christmas with my dad. Used to hate having two Christmas celebrations but these days, it's easier on me.

I don`t even know...again. Not doing the concert or videography thing tonight. To much to get done here at the homestead on my day off. Worked on some of it...still need to do more. Dark already I hate winter.

I suppose enjoying the serene calm of the snow.
Watching obscure game reviews that are interesting.
And apparently falling into the hell scape of fiction
outside of my WIP, and cooking up some weird
mix of Giger/Barker worthy insanity passing for
a more defined and updated version of hell. Mainly
making it kinda work more defined and refined with
some unamed demonic creatures that better suit more
specific things. Not sure why my brain has wandered
off in that direction, but at least I haven't used a single
bad word. :p Which is kinda funny considering there
is a demon that kinda specializes in punishing those how
    do, along with blaspheming. :p
At least they vary slightly in the degree in which the punishments
are carried out according to some form of rating system, making
it much worse on those who rank higher as for the offensive scale
of each type. Kinda like there is a standard, and then if they have
been extra bad they get an upgraded package.
It is all really quite strange, but it makes something that was once
chaotic, a bit more 'modernized' adding a bit of a surrealist aspect
to an old concept. Or maybe my mind is kinda bored and filling in
gaps to an otherwise dull day. Who knows? o_O

Watching a recording of the recorded North Star live presentation of Gary Clark Jr. at the Village Recorder in Los Angeles, and waiting for him to get to the good songs. So far it’s been all B-sides.

    - unintentionally spooked the possom family outside the back door as I went outside to shove me fone in the gutter.
    - apologised by throwing a stack of dried fruit out for them, as they seemed to be foraging in the area I threw the last lot several days ago.
    - chillin, sippin' coffee, listening to Brian Eno - New Space Music.
    - no longer gearing up me mindtank for any Lonnie run.
    - had the bizarrest Cornicing dream to date.
The dream started off with me hanging out with me dawta and her family in current time, then traveling through a rural landscape in a station wagon; the car seemed familiar.
Ended up I was driving to a job site with a crew of about 5-6, in two cars.
The job was an old and very run down Queenslander style house raised high off the ground on steel poles.
The house situated on the bank of a river that had flooded.
The water a few feet below the floor; we had to reach the house in a dingy and an inflatable canoe.
Running multiple extension cords connected together from the dry ground power box to the house was a bit of a task.
We were partially the way through cornicing, when I felt the house move a bit.
I told everyone to stop and remain still, and the house leaned far over on it's stilts so that part of the flooring was now slightly submerged; the house now leaning over by about 10 degrees.
I though, one - house now ruined, no need to keep working, and two - what the hell was I doing here working on this house that noone else would even consider doing, especially with the flood waters so high.
I awoke as I just finished scolding a crew member who was just about to place the hanging extension lead into the water.

Might be going on an adventure with my sister later, we'll see. Both of us enjoy walking in parks and today seems like a good melancholy day to do so.
