3 different occurrences somewhere between 8 and 11. One girl was 2 years older than me, the other one was 1 year older and the guy was the same age. The average was older. I was experienced in fighting. I had an older sister and we would fight often until both of us were left breathless. No one ever admitted defeat. Never! We were proud. No better practice for a warrior than war itself. Older kids didn't intimidate me. Actually, I once was intimidated when I was 6 and I had agreed to fight with a friend of my friend's cousin whom I hated back then (the cousin I mean). I thought I had him before even meeting him. We set the time after school and the kid was only 1 year older than me but he was like a tower. Tall and fat. The minute I saw him I knew I had fucked up. I slipped out of that fight by distracting him with a new found game of sorts I had created on the spot. At least that's what I thought I did back then. I think he pitied me and played along. Perhaps it would ruin his image if he kicked a little girls ass... Idk. But yeah. When I was a kid it was pretty much the norm to fight with each other one minute and play hide and seek the next.
My younger brother was a quiet sort and would never fight, but when the playground bully hit a girl he picked him up over his head and dashed him to the ground. It was legendary. It scared the shit out of the teachers! We were passive little introverts in the scary world but at home, we fought tooth and nail.
I need to let out some anger. Something just pissed me off, lol. Basically, have lived in a condo with my GF and her best friend for the last 3 years. My GF's best friend's GF also stays with her a lot, and she's black. It comes into play later. Anyways, never had any issues at all, given we're all very introverted. Then, a few weeks ago, I got a text from my landlord saying someone had reached out to him, and said that I was parked in their spot, and they're going to have me towed. This was a big surprise, given we all park in our owns spots, and then 1-2 guest spots (depending on whether or not my roommate's GF is staying over). Anyways, thanked my landlord for the heads-up, and sent a message to the HOA. They told me that they weren't told anything, but they've previously had calls about the parking spot for a similar address (say I'm 213, they were 231). So, thought it was just a weird mix-up. Maybe a typo, or a dyslexic person or something. Fast-forward to a few hours ago, I got another text from my landlord saying that someone texted him about me stealing from them, and threatening them, and something about parking. I assured him it was the wrong address, and he said he had tried to do the same, but they insisted. So I got their number, and politely asked who I was speaking with. It was the same address that the HOA said the parking issues were. They started making all these claims, saying my friend (black GF of my roommate) had stolen their kid's debit card and threatened to beat them up. I also assured this person that they were mistaken, and they had the wrong person. Well, the mom got all pissed off, and sent the people down to confront us. They knock on the door, and the second I see their faces, I knew it was just a big misunderstanding, and an overbearing mother-in-law. Turns out, someone did steal stuff from their car. And the person did go to their door and threaten them. Then, about an hour later, my roommate's GF was just innocently walking her puppy, saw the debit card that had fallen under the car, and returned it to them. They thought that it was related, given that, just an hour ago, someone that actually did steal from them, went to their door and threatened them. Just terrible timing. So, it'll now be awkward as hell passing them by all the time. They'll feel bad for accusing my roommate's GF, and my roommate's GF thinks she was racially profiled, so she now hates them (that was my first guess before I heard about the earlier incident, now I think it was miscommunication between the kids and the MIL), and now I'm sure my landlord thinks we're nuts. Anyways, I thought for sure that the two incidents were related, but when I talked to the kids that came down to talk to us about it all, they mentioned off-hand how their car was towed, so the person that texted my landlord about the parking actually did mix the numbers up, and then this incident coincidentally also had to do with that address. Just a frustrating story. In my mind, all is forgiven. The lady that was threatened was all alone with her little baby, and genuinely thought the returning of the card was connected. But still, the MIL was a bitch on the phone and through text, and now my roommate's GF doesn't want to come back to the condos. Regardless of outcome, I screenshotted and kept all texts, and recorded every interaction we had with them (they weren't aware). Before we talked to them, we also preemptively called the Sheriff's Department, just to cover all bases. Weird night overall . . .
Update: She just left me a voicemail, but didn't say anything. May have been a butt dial, but I'm not sure, lol.
Update #2: She did butt dial, but mentioned for some reason that her daughter now fears someone will take revenge on her. Jesus christ, lol.
I'm picturing Clint Eastwood speaking, "You're probably thinking, did he really poison these? Do you want to try it, punk, do you?"
