LOL, no, I use ancho chili powder (ancho molido) for flavor and arbol chili powder (arbol molido) for heat. I may have gone a little overboard on the arbol this time.

    Arbol chili

Ancho chili, which I just now learned also goes by "poblano."

Oh, I was just getting ready to ask you how spicy a arbol molido is until I've read the poblano part. lol! I'm a spice fanatic, so I'm always looking for spicy food to try in my dishes. The hottest I've come across was ghost chili powder I bought on Amazon.

Not sure what I'll be having yet. Probably stuffed zucchini as I've bought the stuff for it a few hours ago.

I mostly put it in Wolf Brand chili when I heat it on the stove, or use it with a dry rub when I make baked spicy chicken breasts. The one I buy has a smoky flavor, too. It can be used in anything to give it a kick, so long as you don't put in more than a pinch or two. I do that to not only make it last, but to prevent the dish from becoming inedible from the heat, of course.

I like things spicy, but I'm too old to get into the manliness contest of "I can eat hotter than you!" I keep a bottle of powdered habenero around the house to add a kick when something needs it, but other than that I'm good with arbol, ancho, and maybe some chipotle for smoke.

    Breakfast: edamame and basmati rice
Lunch: smoothie (probably peanut butter and strawberry because that sounds great)
Dinner: either leftovers or a seitan wrap.

    Mmmm food.

It's shopping day, and I always get a big tub of mushrooms, which need to be cooked soon. Maybe a mushroom pie for tomorrow. Sautee the rest and freeze.
Still have acorn squash soup with basil dumplings left over from yesterday.

Bratwurst. Good ol' bratwurst with hot dog relish. My bratwurst set off the smoke alarm - now it's nice and tasty!

I had a simple ham salad with boiled eggs, lashings of salad cream and some bread. It was very nice.

Not cooking so much as blending: bourbon vanilla milkshake. It's an experiment and if it works, well. Then I won't be on here tonight.

Edit: never mind on that. Got too angry about something and now I can't be bothered. I'll still have ice cream though.

With a bourbon chaser. Probably for the best; less evaporation wastage.

The mushrooms turned out great. Stuffed with veggie ground, onion, green pepper, tomato and celery, seasoned with soy sauce, thyme and black pepper; baked. Asparagus on the side. Enough for four meals, so nobody has to cook the next three days.
After that, stir-fry, probably. The snow peas are just about ready.

My favorite dish: Green beans with beef and tomato sauce. Love love love it! Put some feta cheese on the side and half a loaf of freshly baked bread for dipping and dive into heaven.
