Ha, Manchester's latest superhero. It ought to wear a vest daubed with such a title.

Seriously though, the wings, the detail. Could only appreciate them from the picture—eyes in 'real life' not up to discerning such detail.

Which iPhone? I think the 7 onward has this portrait mode which simulates an amazing shallow depth of field. Wouldn't have worked for your dragonfly because there's no distance between it and the background, but if you ever catch something like this again and there's a lot of distance in the background, choose 'portrait mode'. It can be a bit tricky getting the DoF effect to kick in, but when it does it makes for some stunning results.

Was plugging away in the garden the other day and noticed the plant I had in the pot last year was ready to bloom so here are a couple of before and after pics.

The flowers in the square planters were neatly tucked in around the border with no spillage as everything was compact and tidy. Looks like they're loving the new soil.

To be technical, that's a Common Plecostumus and it's around half of its full possible length. This one is the largest I've ever gotten one, a foot long, but they slowly bulk up over the years and get huge if they're fed enough. This chunky boy is always munching, so I'm sure he'll get up there. I'll eventually need to feed him full cucumbers and whatnot, maybe a couple of chunks of wood too. He's fun. You can hand feed him directly into his mouth because he'll flip on the surface in the morning expectant for food. He's a lively personality.

Fish I don't typically name because of the variability. Ever week or so I'll have births, deaths, or new purchases. I have around forty fish at any given time. But I may have to make an exception with this amazon tank as the fish here are large and appear here to stay.

No idea what was on the little guys mind, probably a rogue mouse running riot in his minds eye.

I was messing about with my camera and ended up taking this completely random shot having found some weird filter/something or other setting on it.

Messed about some more and found my black and white setting again and took another picture by complete mistake but enjoyed the angle Dali is looking down at the camera.

I suppose it wouldn't be fair not to throw Kitten #2 in as well.

I've decided I want to take my photography further and enrol for a BA in Photography. But I'll wait until the Rona drama has settled down.

Wow, pic #2, fetch my pipe and slippers... You've definitely got talent, go for that degree once things are settled.

Lol, thanks man I'm up for looking at my options.

Re pic 2...It's trying to say something but what is it? There is a vibe but I don't know what sort. It's a moody pic for sure.
