Hello, and thanks to whoever created this site. I am a septuagenarian, semi-retired, widowed architect who has long harbored delusions of being a word smith. I have had a number of technical articles published in building trade publications, and I spent ten years as editor and mopper upper-in-chief for a small non-profit organization. I am now at the point of trying to move an actual book (non-fiction) from manuscript to reality, and I'm finding the process to be more daunting than I have been led to expect. Everyone says KDP and Kindle Create are simple and easy but, for some reason, I am finding them to be virtually unnavigable. I'm hoping to find some nuggets here to help me along the way. In the meanwhile, if I see any questions that my life experiences have touched on, I'll try to make some useful contributions.
I like your attitude, welcome to the forum If you've any questions, we're an approachable bunch and would be happy to help. Just hang around, get comfortable, and make friends.
Welcome from a quinquagenarian (50-something), 2 years away from being a sexagenarian. Wow, that actually makes 60 sound pretty cool! (Sexty!) Take off your coat and stay while, we'd love to chit-chat with you.
