Amber: Interesting. In our world, we don't really do that but again, I could always go to another world to know that. Rebecca: Didn't we went to a world that does that? What was the name...Wind...Winder...Winderfly? Amber: Umm...not sure about that but yeah, they did do magic to change their bodies and there were hybrids there.
*A hand appears through the bookshelf* ???: So this is the place you've been...and who are those people? Amber: Thorn! How did you find us? Thorn: Well, I've used my scanner to look for you and the gravitational field of unknown magic was detected a lot at bookcases- Rebecca: Ok, we get it. You found us with your whatitsmagickathing. Thorn: Yeah, but-
Leander: What the hell are you doing? Penrod: Talking. Leander: Talking to whom? Penrod: Strangers. It‘s actually really interesting, you know. By the way, I just found out that there‘s a whatitsmagickathing. Leander: A what? Penrod: whatitsmagickathing. It‘s a magic detector of some sort. I think… Leander: … Penrod: *pauses* I‘m still trying to figure it out what exactly it does. Leander: Penn, I swear to the gods. There’s a ton of work. Amber: Ok....THORN HOW MANY SCANNERS YOU'VE MADE? And can I buy one-? Thorn: 234 to be exact. And by the way, it's called a scanner, not a whatitsmagickathing. Which I usually use in finding lost things, dark magic-or in this case, people. And sure, I can give it to you for free. Rebecca: To be honest, you're really gonna open a shop full of your inventions? Thorn: Yeah, and I sold one of your Prismacubes- Rebecca: TO WHO?? Thorn: Hey...how come nobody's talking here? I'm kinda bored. Amber: Dude you forgot about us, we exist. Thorn: Oh wait- umm ok? Sooo in your world, how do you describe it or what is in your world? Amber: In my world, there are places where you can time-travel like the Aurs station. There are towns that some of it are old-ages themed or the high-tech themes. I usually go to the old-ages town just to experience riding a carriage and buy antiques or dresses that is super rare. There are schools that teaches you lessons about magic...I kinda wish schools were like that years ago. Rebecca: Cool! I didn't have the chance to go there yet...but I'll go there soon. Thorn: Hey, you're back! So do you forgive me for selling your Prismacube- Rebecca: NOPE. Unless you buy me one...please? Thorn: Sure, just wait a minute.. Amber: You better hurry! I'm baking some cookies and you wouldn't want to miss out on this. Thorn: I'll hurry, make sure there's a chocolate cookie for me! *Thorn goes through the bookcase portal*
Davian: Your world has time travel? Now, I can see quite a few advatages in that. Our world has researched it, but as far as I know it has never gone beyond the theory stage. Kyris: And I for one am glad for that. Traveling to the past comes with the risk of altering it and then you never know how that would affect the present. Jefrye: I thought you would want to change the past most of us. Then your mother might have still lived today. Kyris: No. Even if it meant having Mother back the risks of what else have been altered is to great. Luekas: I’m surprised I say this, but for once I actually agree with him.
Rebecca: Yes we do have it. Honestly I use it for making my past self pass the test on Math...I bet my past self was super happy. I actually went to the lab where they discovered it. Amber: I suppose you're from a different world? It was discovered 2 years ago and I understand that the scientists want to improve time travel and make it easier before introducing it to different worlds Amber: Yeah there are risks since it could affect the future but we've experienced that. Once, my friend was dead in the future just because his mom wanted his dad back...and that affects the future but luckily, we managed to save him and mom was given a restriction of time travel. But we just do it for research and to experience how people live in the past. Or fix our test results- Amber: It affects the future if you bring your mother back because even tiny mistakes or changes can cause different futures. Rebecca: Even test results! Once I helped my past self into passing the engineering test and the future changed. Of me and Amber not being friends and I became an engineer. Amber: That was shocking but good thing there was a solution. Rebecca: Yeah. But we can change a few things there, like food or something else.
Kyris: We are from Gaea, the third planet in the Helios System.If you have any questions about it, I am quite willing to answer them. Jefrye: Just be careful, Your Highness. You are in posession of knowledge no outsider should have, after all. Kyris: *to Rebecca* Anyway, about you using time travel to give your past self the answers to tests... I would call that cheating of the highest level. Why have the school not taken measures to prevent this?
Rebecca: I only used time travel for one test, and I was younger that time so the second time I used time travel to fix my mistakes in a test, that's when I realized what I was doing was wrong. And for my school...time travel wasn't discovered 5 years ago they think it wouldn't happened so they don't really take much precautions. Besides, in my school, each student was in a separate room during quarter exams. So, it was easier to help my past self. But the principal caught me but surprisingly, she decided to let me pass the test. Until now, I still thank her for that. Because if I don't pass the math test, I would still be in school right now! I had to time travel and help my past self because when I was younger, the future me helped me in my math test. So I decided to help my past self to have a better future.
Amber: *to Kyris* After all, it was a few questions...her future would be miserable if she didn't do that. Her school is super strict after all.
Kyris: *to Rebecca and Amber* I’m not judging. Your world and time line is different from mine, after all. I merely believe that even with the best of intentions you should be aware of how even the smallest change can cause big effects on the present.
Amber: *to Kyris* By the way, you're from Gaea a place I haven't heard of, even our technology here still couldn't find your planet. What galaxy you're from? I wonder if I could go to your planet through place travel or with magic.
Rebecca: I see. I know that can happened but we time travel just for research, or to prevent something bad to happen...like the Drak Era. Good thing we stopped it because it would destroy the galaxies and humankind. I wouldn't even be here if we hadn't prevented it in the past..
Jefrye: *to Amber* While we have space travel we are yet unable to travel outside our own planetary system. Kyris: Our system is located in the Jeed Galaxy. That is merely our name for it, so it might be known to you by a different name. The same goes for our planet, actually. Gaea is just what we call it. Kyris: It is starting to sound like the changes were indeed neccessary in your world. I was merely talking about the concept of changing the past in general, which I still believe to be a bad idea. Could be because I am in a rather tricky situation at the moment and can’t help but fear how changing the past could make it even worse than it is.
Amber: *to Jefrye* Our technology allowed us to travel outside our planets. I even once got to the dwarf planet Pluto! Maybe your planet would discover how to do that soon. Amber: Ok, just wait a minute...lemme search it in the Universapedia. Ooh! I found it, we call your planet...Gaea too. I wonder why I haven't heard of it. Rebecca: It's possible one of the scientists here traveled there and heard your planet's name. Amber: I respect your opinion. Some of my friends tried changing their past and when they come back, the future is different. But we helped then fix it so no problems here! But still I think we should be prepared because changing the past could be good if all lives depend on it. One of my favorite quotes is this: "The past has a way of returning" So that means we can time travel to fix it, but not our past. Because our past should be left untouched. Thorn: Right. Amber: OH MY GOSH YOU ALMOST GAVE ME A HEART ATTACK Thorn: Oh-sorry Rebecca: So did you find it? Thorn: *to Kyris* I wondered, how did you get here, in the chatroom? I got here by the bookshelf portal and Amber and Rebecca got here by a random portal.
Jefrye: It is being researched and developed. There just haven’t been a working prototype yet. Will our ships one day be able to go to other planetary systems? No doubt. Will it happen during our life time? I don’t know, time will have to tell. Kyris: While seeing new worlds does sound interesting, there is still things left to discover about our own planetary system. The Helios System has nine planets and all of them are inhabited by different species. Kyris: I have never heard about outsiders coming to our system... And wouldn’t they stand out as obviouly not being from any of the Nine Species? Kyris: If you don’t mind me asking, what is that thing? Kyris: Well... *looks at Jefrye, Davian and Luekas* For us it was just opening a door and instead of it leading to where it normally does it lead here instead. Right? Jefrye: Yeah, except I entered this place from a different location than the others.
Amber: Maybe they went there and you've not heard of it? The scientist possibly be a human so the people there wouldn't notice that he's not from there. Thorn: Wait you guys don't have cubes there? I thought everyone in the universe have of of these *tosses up into the air and catches it* Rebecca: Of course not. Not everyone have the same technology as we do. This is a Prismacube, it's kinda like a normal phone, but better. It stores our online I.D. in it and it's the only way we can time travel because without it, we can't time travel and the guards would kick us out- in some places, Prismacubes are rare and the people there would spend a fortune to buy it. And we can watch cat videos.
Kyris: If it was humans then it definately is strange we never heard of it. None of the Nine Species look human. Humanoid, yes, but not human. Just take us Gaeans for example - blue skin, long ears and eyes of one solid color. Kyris: Oh, so that’s what it is. Well, we might not have Prismacubes, but we do have this... *taps the rim of his glasses and a holo-computer appears* This is a holo-computer. We use them pretty much like your cubes. Normally people have it on their tech bracelet along with the communicator, but since I need to wear glasses anyway I had all tech bracelet functions incorporated into them.
Amber: Oh, he could be wearing an appearance changer, you put the device in your ear and imagine the appearance you want to change into. When you take of the changer, you turn back to normal. I didn't really know about the Nine Species but I searched it up and your correct, it doesn't include human-lookalike species. To be honest, I am human myself, gifted with magical abilities. In our world, there are mixes of humans, hybrids, and spirits. Thorn: WOW SO COOL WHERE CAN I GET ONE? Rebecca: Thorn, maybe we can go there and buy one- Amber: That's really cool! Your technology is really interesting.
Amber: *to Kyris* Are there any other planets you've been to? Is the technology there really advance? Rebecca: I've been to one of Jupiter's moons, Europa. The people there can change their skin according to the surroundings...kinda like chameleons! We call them Europians. Thorn: By the way, Amber where's the cookies? I'm hungry. Amber: Over here. I'd made plenty there's chocolate, vanila, pumpkin spice, and caramel cookies. *gives one to Thorn* Thorn: Yum!
Jefrye: What?! You can— *looks at Kyris* This is bad. Perhaps we should go back home? There can be an invasion that’s been going on for years without us noticing it. Kyris: I know better than anyone how serious you take your work, Jefrye, but let’s not jump into conclusions. Still, it is very concerning and we should probably look into it once the mess we are in have been resolved. Kyris: I have been to all of the planets in the Helios System, except Hermes and Hades. Hermes became uninhsbitable a long time ago and its population migrated to the others so I have met plenty of Hermesians. Hades became lawless when pirates made it their base. I am regretfully on my way there now so soon it will only be Hermes I haven’t visited. Davian: I would call Hades home sweet home myself. Anyway, regarding technology all of the Nine Species are equally advanced so aside from how they look and their culture the people are pretty much the same. The planets are quite different when it comes to climate and geography, of course.
Amber: I don't think there's going to be an invasion there. The appearance changer is only found in my planet. But you should check, it might be the dark spirits inhabiting human bodies that could be the ones starting an invasion there. But the dark spirits stare could kill you or hypnotize you so be careful. Rebecca: *to Davian* So that means you're a pirate? Or you've been there? Thorn: Such a bummer that the planet Hermes because inhabitable and I've never went there before. My uncle was a Hermesian and told me all about his planet. He showed pictures of what it looks like before, the nature there is so beautiful. Luckily, he moved in our place. Amber: That's sad. I wish you guys have technology to restore the planet...like what we've made, after it was almost impossible to live on Earth, our home. So scientists made life on Mars and we moved there. The scientists made air-purifiers, plants and clean water and brought it on Earth and revived it. Right now, Earth is healing and is full of nature! I visited Earth and I'm exited to move back in there after it healed.
Katsumi: I think we missed a lot. Sapphire: You can travel through time? Magic in our world cannot do that—wouldn’t it be difficult to regulate? Katsumi: And hang on—Kyris, pirates took an entire planet as their base? How many are there? Ayana: Is the planet all water? Or do pirates in your world do piracy on land, too? (Turns to Amber) So you can use that to change how you look? I can do stuff like that, but I don’t use a device or anything—it’s just magic.
