ETA: also, i dont know about other dogs, but MY dogs have telling signs when they are cold. This dog (who rarely gets cold) will not want to go out side and will sit by the door and cry when its too cold. my puppy will sit on my feet or huddle against my leg and tremble.

so thats when i put on their sweaters and/or coats.

 

I typed ‘do dogs feel the cold?’ into a search engine and every source I checked says they do. So I’m wrong. Ah, well. I suppose there’s a first for everything.

The overall design of this microwave’s dials, in one of our mess rooms at work.

 

Im less annoyed by the dials than i am about how dirty it is

 

Do you want your food heated up by a Cyclops, by a normal two-eyed guy, or do you want to go with the super-enlightened guy with his third eye open?

You might want to consider it. Raccoons can benefit from a good cleaning. The only good raccoon is a clean raccoon

 

Lemon juice (or apple cider vinegar),with either lavender or mint oils/herbs. Mix with a lil watter and heat up in the microwave. Wipe clean.

No windex/cleaner taste, and it smells good
My coworker uses an orange instead of lemon, but its your preference

Or you can get the raccoons to clean it. They like to wash things. Remind them to unplug it first.

 

There's also a crying one and one with no eyes but a nose. (Or is that a tear from the invisible third eye?)

 

Huh. When I looked at that yellow dial, I didn't see faces, but some kind of alien script. Is this actually a psychology experiment?

 

It’s the typeface used for ‘Power’ and ‘Timer’ that offends me the most.

I’ll never understand why designers of cheap and nasty products go out of their way to make them look cheap and nasty too.

 

There's some kind of circuitry in the human brain that makes us instantly recognize anything vaguely resembling a human face at a glance. This is survival mechanism stuff, and is why we see faces in clouds and all kinds of other things. Apparently in some people it's broken.

 

I see the face of Elvis everywhere I look.

 

So less a psychology experiment, than a Voight-Kampff test to suss me out as secretly being a replicant?
