    You realise there's a whole forum here... this is one thread in the off topic area... if you don't want to listen to 'this crap' ... maybe go look at one of the other 20 thousand or so threads.

    Frankly while i find the whole Alpha male thing a bit silly it doesnt break any of our rules , and this being a writing forum we try to let people express themselves even if we don't agree with their views

    (Normally I'd have this conversation by PM - but the PM function is broken)

    This is part of why I view the internet as toxic. Other than the offensive comment that was pointed out, the post has been civil. If there is a theory, even one you disagree with, why wouldn't you want to at least point out what is wrong with it?

    If someone were to say that men tend to desire women that are attractive physically and ignore personality, would you just just dismiss it as nonsense or try to explain in detail, that "it's not that simple"?

    Anyways, if this thread isn't deleted, I'd like all of my replies within this thread deleted for fear of being labeled a misogynist in the future for even entering the discussion, and I may not even be male.

    Sorry not happening - we don't delete posts once they've been replied to as it just trashes the thread. I wouldnt have said that anything you've said here was mysoginist anyway...

    lets all keep a sense of proportion - one member doesnt like another members post... that happens all the time and it not cause for a massive revision of threads

    The best thing we can all do now is all move on with our forum lives - either in or outside this thread

    (and if anyone detects annoyance in my tone its because I don't need any of this right now - i'm putting the thread on pause so everyone can chill out and move on)
