Im Fantastical Poetry and I write about many things. Anything from ancient kingdoms to future dystopias or future utopias. I have written 50+ poems, as well as started at least a hundred short stories and several novels.
Hi you can call Moonie or Moon Child, I used to write fanfiction. Trying to write my own now. I like romance, fantasy and historical.
Currently, I'm not anyone in particular. I've been away from writing; well, more away from editing, revising, all those shivers and nightmares. But I feel relaxed enough to enjoy words again. I write horror, but I don't mind trying/reading other things. Looking forward to the interactions. Thank you.
Alright, here I go. I'm female, age 53, from Germany, and I mostly write in English although it's not my native language. I feel it gives me more expressive freedom than my native language. I started writing in 2012. My stories are always about - sorry if it sounds boring - love, and they always have a happy ending. I'm a strong believer in happy endings I'm staying in the OC/OFC realm beause that's where I feel safe enough to spill my fantasy.
Hello, New member as of today. I've been writing for some time but have never had feedback on my writing before. Figure I'd start. I'm a 30yrs old woman in Illinois. I have a degree in History/ minor in art history. I write from mostly a female perspective as that is what I most relate to. I am also a fan of fantasy and romance, but would love to write a story with more horror elements. I write because I enjoy the puzzle of putting together the right string of words to accurately portray the images from my mind to page. -Miki
The season for that is rapidly approaching—autumn and Halloween! I always like to watch horror movies every night (when I can) through the whole month. Maybe I'll slow down on that this time and concentrate instead on writing my story, which is called Season of the Witch (meaning autumn/Halloween, as well as referring to a terrible time in a person's life, as if they're struggling under a curse).
Hi, 41 year old mum of three. Married. I love Australian Colonial History, stories about the country and I am very new at writing. Currently trying to write a horse story with a bit of family saga dynamics and history / war.
If I'm not wrong - like I wrote "rookie alert" OC refers to Original character and OFC to Original Female Character. I've come across abbreviations like this on fanfic websites like AO3 or fanfiction.net. I'm not sure if there is a "standardized" terminology for such things.
Ok, thanks. I've never seen those particular abbreviations before. Yeah, I guess theyr'e probably fanfic-specific. I remember it used to mess with my head when people in here would talk about their FMC and MMC, but I realized it means female main character and male main character. I think that comes from the world of the romance story.
I am a 44f SciFi writer. I am working on a trilogy at the moment. I have a self-published children's book on Amazon, and I plan to continue the series when I need a break from my current project. I've written since I was a child, and I am now making time to do it consistently. I'm very excited to check this forum out.
Hi! She/her, 34f. I feel most comfortable writing in the subgenres of fantasy. I'm currently writing fanfiction short stories, as well as micro fictions of 350 words with different genres, themes, tones and writing prose so I can strengthen my craft.
Hi! I'm 20f. I'm currently writing a suspense-thriller novel and want to write some short stories in the same genre. I'm new here so things are confusing I don't know what to do where to go. Have a nice day
