Who says you're too old? An almost 80-year-old friend sports hair that ranges from indigo to a gorgeous lavender on any given day. She looks gorgeous.
Your older friends are telling you you're too old for rainbow colored hair? What do dinosaurs like that know about hair color for younger people?
Ahh, I've wondered where you got your profile pictures from, but never asked. I just assumed you had an artist friend doing them or something !
It's part of a drawing I did many, many moons ago of Gabriel Byrne from Miller's Crossing, one of my favorite films.
"Look ino you heart... " (ad infinitum, but quieter and more compassionate each time). Strange strange movie, but it's by the Coens.
A skull with a crown drawn by Mike Mignola, because, "Hell yeah!" I love his art style. Heavily influenced by German Expressionism and chiaroscuro. Also, the guy created Hellboy. What else needs to be said?
Well, its from the video of a Tool Song titled Sober...love Tool and their song writing. It helped me a lot in the early years as it was release just a couple years after I quit drinking and really shined a spotlight on my alcoholism.
My Profile Pic is Clayface From the HQ series on HBO max! I just love Clayface and his Genderfluid spunk! (His role in this episode is Stephanie! A Quiet But Bookish Transfer Student from chico state!! and yes, I themed my profile off of her-)
Well, I was told my writing and poetry stinks, and that it makes the person want to diminish and go into the west (Like Galadriel from LOTR) so I chose that profile pic and username so the smell can still find them there.
Well, my profile picture is fairly straightforward. A knight challenging a dragon, 'cos hey, why not? (It was designed for me by a friend many, many years ago). Hopefully the knight's asbestos underpants are flame-proof
I'm just a plain guy if you met me in real life. I don't say unusual or interesting things, or try to stand out. My profile picture is what my head looks like on the inside if you cut it open though. I daydream and imagine a world full of magic and hidden things, or escape to faraway places in story. No one close to me knows this side of me. They don't even know I write as a hobby or as an exercise in active imagination. They are unaware of the delusion...I mean Illusion.
I drive forklift at work, and I'm a fan of the band Joy Division. The picture is from a t-shirt my buddy/former boss sent me that's a play on the artwork of JD's excellent album, "Unknown Pleasures."
I just chose my pfp because he (at least the guy in the middle) looks like a character from one of the stories I'm writing.
The lamb because we went to Scotland and Ireland last year and everywhere in the countryside there were prancing fluffy little lambs. But in the towns and cities, lamb was on every menu. More power to you if you can, but sorry, the idea just made me gag. Like eating a little puppy. I just couldn't. And the Daisy's all around, because well, duh.
Mine is a doodle I drew in a Post-It note while holding on the phone. I'd got into steampunk and thought I'd give this curious rabbit character some vintage wear.
It’s a painting of a black sighthound I found on Pinterest. I think it looks cool, and I’ve always thought black canines in art had this sort of ethereal look to them.
After open heart surgery, I was inspired to tell a story about a dream I had whilst (I like the British version) under sedation, which turned into a book. With a little help from AI, I coaxed out the art for a book cover which came as close to my parameters as I could muster. Heart Of Peace.
An homage to Hemingway, my Taurean zodiac sign, and the lifelong feeling that I am physically, mentally, and socially a bull in a china shop.
