Not that I am anti-American or anything, but I could never imagine anyone having this wish. To us, we sound so plain and... bleh! Nothing interesting going on here.

That's how I feel about Australian accents. Everyone sounds so cheery! I love it. There's a show I watch on the Science Channel called Beyond Tomorrow from Australia. They sound so happy! And on the show Brink, I love Josh Zepps!! :D

Don't give your hand away so quickly, Ash! Remember, most Yanks couldn't tell common from class if there were a degree in British accents.

Although I have noticed that what is supposed to be the poshest of the posh accents from the UK always sound like Elmer Fudd to me with all the replacement of the Rs with Ws.

I find it funny when people think American accents (at least he generic Western and Midwest ones) are cool or sexy or whatever. All British accents sound cool, though I can tell differences. Australian accents are hot. I even programmed my GPS to give me directions in this hot Australian voice. LOL.

Supposedly I have a very SoCal accent. That's what I've been told, anyway. I don't really think it's true.... or rather I guess you can say I don't want it to be true? HEH.

I like the SoCal accent. (Or just Cal, I'm not sure what the South's like...) I find it very clear and bright.

and for those who don't kno we speak an english dialect that we call Patois
if you are a keen listener its easy to understand but if not it tend to sound like an entirely different language especially if spoken fast which we tend to do

Okay, so this video is forever old, but I thought it would due for you guys hearing what I sound like. Me and my friend Savannah were in a locker room at the indoor pool and she was bored and shot this video. Still not sure what's on it. But my voice is there. So, enjoy.
