Do you have a strict dress code where you work?

 

I work in a church...pretty conservative

 

It doesn't specify anything about hair color, but I work retail, and in my past experience with other retail jobs, they seem to get pretty upset when you color your hair with colors that aren't "normal" hair colors.

 

Yeah, in retail they usually don't like that. Unless you're working at Hot Topic or something equally lame.

Wouldn't want to offend the boomers and, likely, some of X.

 

I used to manage a high-end women's clothing store called The Buzz. We prided ourselves on being chic and progressive. There wasn't a dress code at all. I could go to work in my pajamas.

Most notably, we had an employee with two full tattoo sleeves and blue dreadlocks.

Looking very pretty as usual, but in that light you look so....'perfect'. It makes you look like a soccer mum or somebody who has perfect flower beds and bakes alot, and has many pretty summer dresses in pastel colours....

Hello! Whoops this was s'posed to go to the "Chatbox II"

 

The funny thing was, when I worked at JC Penney, the majority of customers seemed to really like my hair being odd colors...my managers hated it, though. The thing that I thought was really silly was when I delivered pizza and my manager was all upset about it. Dude, I deliver pizza. Anyone opening their door to find me there is going to be so surprised to see a girl standing there they probably won't even notice my hair...

Edit: I dig the hats, Em. And that dress is very pretty on you! I like it!
