Mir got his butt kicked. Sad day. Buuuuut...GSP totally dominated his fight, so that was pretty epic to watch. Especially because the other guy was some newcomer they hyped all up, and he was talking mad crap before the fight. It was nice to see him get taken down a few notches.
I still really like Alves, especially because he crushed Hughes and Koscheck. The Henderson/Bisping fight was beautiful, and I'm not much of a Henderson fan.
Afternoon all. I'm writing this from my laptop in a desperate attempt to get writing again, and it seems to be working up to now. And to all Monty Python fans: NI!
Same thing I've been writing for 7 years - Labyrinthine Ways: Empire Rising. Shame I've been stuck on it and have been getting distracted for the past year. Today's distraction: an air display in Heckmondwike.
...and then she said, "I know, but what I ordered was a bag of crisps!" *cue the studio audience canned laughter*
I am watching Pineapple Express and trying to remember the giant cloud of dank a.k.a my years at university. .....and..... I'm hungry. No food in the house. Thinking about going to the grocery story, but I don't know what I want.
I don't have any strong feelings one way or the other for Alves, but I loves me some GSP. And as for Henderson...I'm not a huge fan of his, but Bisping is such a whiny, obnoxious dude, it's impossible to like him. Anyone who knocks him out gets a gold star from me. Somewhere between the third and fourth Mike's hard lemonades... Oh, wait, I wasn't the one who said that... I love Pineapple Express! I just got back from seeing Bruno. It was...something else.
I like how Joel uses me getting on the computer for like five minutes as an excuse to go WoW it up for forever. "You almost done, Heather?" "Yeah, I just need to check a couple more things." "Ok...I'll let you nerd out for a little bit." Five seconds later, I look over and he's got World of Warcraft on.
WoW will eventually fall under the umbrella of the A.T.F. or some other such watchdog organization. If such an amorphous concept as data and knowledge of said data can be classified as intellectual property, how far can we be from an addictive game being classified as a "controled data substance"? P.S. I'm back from the grocery store where I just dropped $125. Never shop for food when you are hungry.
Haha my sister's fiance (who plays WoW frequently) and I were talking about that. He said "it's not so much a video game as it is a drug." I loled. That's pretty much what Joel said to me. And I laughed at him.
