My mobile broadband has finally decided it is not having a hissy fit.

    Normal usage resumes. :D

I have mobile broadband too. Its a big pain in the rear, but it beats dial up and is good for laptops!

^ And is also good if there are big arguements about internet usage in the house you currently occupy. :D

I had never seen Little Miss Sunshine, but I'm watching it right now, and oh my sweet goodness...it's amazing.

Apologies for the Double post, but I just managed to get a cancellation on my drving test.

    It's only 5 days earlier, but it's a saturday now. :)

Still, if I can get one for in the next two weeks, that would be AWESOME. :D

I had a super first day back at school, actually. I was deprived of breakfast ( I hate my 'superiors.' They really dont know what they're doing), but distribution of the newspaper went really well, and I'm really excited to see my designs in print.
Spanish 5 wasnt as bad as I anticipated (although incredibly boring); Fashion will be kind of bad (but what was I expecting, with 30 girls in one room? It's all catty backstabbing), but I can at least use my iPod in that class and stay out of it. Creative Writing will be kickass... :) And Sociology, I think, will be even better than creative writing. I know my soc prof really, really well. He's very intelligent... and the class will be most excellent in its challenges.

I feel 'normal' again now that I have routine and responsibility back in my life again, and a lot happier with things to do instead of an exorbitant amount of time to veg. :)

Yeah. My first day @ school was cool too. I just made my first female friend (irl) I think o_O Well actually first half of the day was pure boring, but I went to some sort of pub quiz events (over 700 students in 1 quiz, lol) I found out the people in my separate study group (small small part of the study group) were cool. I don't have my beloved Japanese lessons yet but still. Almost looking forward to the next 6 months.

    I don't feel 'normal' though.

Yay for days going well. :) I'm glad you made friends and had almost-fun. Anything can be fun if you want it to be, and I really do like to learn, especially now that I dont have any required classes; their all of my own choice.

I guess normal wasnt the right word. I guess what I meant was that I feel more at home when I have some sort of paper or deadline hanging over my head, versus during the summer I had nothing to do --which was nice, but I need to do something; haha.

I have finite mathematics, student newspaper, and AP English language tomorrow. My schedule rocks. :D

Edit: Gi, yeah. My school starts in mid-August but lets out right after Memorial Day (American). :)

I don't use them, I just thought they were cool. :D I started collecting them on the NJHS trip to Washington DC. We were all in so many souvenir stores, with so many cool shotglasses you couldn't pass them up. They're so cool.

Of course, that trip was in June, so my collection has only about 13 so far, but it's a great start! :D

aaaand now i've finished the first draft, at just over 2,000 words.

I'll look at it with fresh eyes tomorrow to do some hard editing, and then see about getting it submitted before time runs out on the competition. I have a few days though.

    Wheee...
