currently (supposed to be) reading A House on Mango Street for school, but I'm finding it incredibly dull and slow...but I really need to finish it, I'm running out of time
Let me know how that goes and if you would recommend it. I've been wanting to read Roth but have always put it off.
Still reading the Bloody Crown of Conan by Robert E. Howard. Collection of three stories by the great man himself.
I'm rereading for the umpteenth time: Exiles: The Ruins of Ambrai and Exiles: The Mageborn Traitor, both by Melanie Rawn. Epic political/magical fantasy works. I just hope she writes the third book sometime soon.
XO Manowar series... Our generation has never known a greater hero (we don't all have to read hardback books do we?:redface
Hell's Prisoner by Christopher Parnell. Self published by someone who was incorrectly imprisoned in Indonesia for drug smuggling. The writing is absolutely atrocious, but the story itself is amazing, if you can stomach the finer things.
I'm only halfway through and I really like it. I would recommend it--it may confuse you at first, but by "The Fall" you'll understand it.

Lock and Key- Sarah Dessen Just finishing that up. Also, Wicked Lovely-Melissa Marr Quite good books actually. =]
One of the coolest fantasy novels ever. Mieville is so startlingly original. I just started NP, by Banana Yoshimoto. Dead poets and ghost stories and talented beautiful people, in the first five pages. It should be interesting.
Just finished Excession By Iain M. Banks. Probably one of the best Sci-fi books I have ever read. I want more.
