It's now been thirteen hours of fasting. I'm more than halfway there! Can I make it? No idea.

As long as you don't think about food too much, I suppose you will. Just keep sitting behind your pc for the rest of the day... ;)

Well, I do have classes this morning. I forgot to tell my prof about the holiday, and we have a test first thing, so I can't skip. And if I go to the test, I might as well go to the other class I have this morning.

Oh well, as long as you have your mind occupied with one thing or the other. What's the time over there? 7.45 ?

It's 8:10 now. I have until around 6:30, I think, before I can eat again.

Aw, not nice! I wouldn't be able to hold that up for so long... I mean, I had lunch not so long ago, and I'm hungry again! Or maybe that's just me being strange...:p

No, it's not just you being strange. That's usually me. I've never made it this long before. It helps that I was at the synagogue as soon as the sun went down, and I was too tired to do anything else when I got back to my room. I just hope that this doesn't interfere with my ability to do the test well.

Yes, I guess it's not gonna be easy if you're feeling hungry... but I think you will. :)

You're still on school break? Wow.

I've made it fifteen and a half hours! Only nine more hours to go, then I can eat! I will do it. I must be zen.

I am not hungry. I am not hungry.

Like warmed treacle stirred in a tub,
the heavy Caribbean air swirls languid.
Sound dallies and light itself arrives late for dinner.
