My flight leaves in approximately fifteen hours. I am going to bed, and when I wake, I'll be busy finishing packing and trying to find the new airport. While we'll have Internet access and cell phones and stuff, I dont know if I'll have time to get on or not. Regardless, because of sleep patterns and a very busy schedule, I wont be on often.

Everyone has to promise to me miss, okay? Be back in eleven days or so.

Hey people... I'm so sorry that I haven't been on here for a few months, it's just school is so hectic and I had so much course work to do, but luckly it has died down a bit and I have more time to spend on this and the other forums I'm on.

Can't wait to read some of the new pieces that have been posted.

I Survived the Four-Month Thesis!

Back in June I was granted an extension to my studies to do my thesis - only four months. Even worse - my original topic was rejected so I had to find a new topic and start over from scratch. Not only that - but I haven't studied for four YEARS and have been out of the workplace for more than two. I have neglected everything to put in crazy hours to do this.

Well ... it's done. Printed, bound and with the University of Leicester a few hours before the deadline. I'm exhausted, I've overdosed on caffeine and I have a couple of weeks to recover before I do nano.

I must be mad. But if I pass, I may be one of the oldest students to graduate, at 54.

 

Congratulations on finishing, Dalouise, that's amazing! Best of luck, I'm sure after all that hard work that you passed.

Well I'm back. I've been active and inactive on this site twice. Nothing against you guys, just been way too busy to catch up.
