I think it should be decriminalized, but not legalized. Trafficking should remain a serious crime, but possession of small quantities should result in a fine and confiscation. It is not a harmless drug, despite propaganda by its advocates. But you know what? This isn't the place for that discussion.
I know enough potheads to know it's not harmless oO;;! So, I'm not quite sure about the whole thing. But, like you said not the place to discuss.
Well, people do get messed up by it, but it's like alcohol. If you use it too much you are going too. I think I'm adult enough to know when to stop with these things: I drink (a lot) and smoke (very rarely) and I know the dangers of both, and I accept the dangers of both. It should not stop you at all - but you should know when to stop.
I know I'm a bit late on quoting this, but his name is Cody. He is amazing. His family lives on a farm, so he's all buff from the farm work, and he's smart about stuff I'm not (i.e., the farm) as well as a great student. We share a deep love of Guns N' Roses and good music, plus we love GH and GTA (both of which I can kick his butt at ). He wears contacts/glasses like me, too. He likes John Deere, too, so whenever I see him I can't help thinking of that song ("She thinks my tractor's sexxxxyyy....") because it kinda describes me and him. Haha. He has my number too.
Well, while I don't shy from the occasional drink, I have only tried smoking a few times myself. In my opinion, it wasn't worth all the hype. Any drug/medication/drink that affects the nervous system, judgement, visual/hand eye coordination in general is a danger in the side effects itself. Not even mentioning other chemical reactions, general inhalation of smoke stopping oxygen to the brain, etc. I can understand why someone would do such things though, after all I did say that I have a drink every now and then. Just, the people going around saying that it's perfectly harmless are wrong. This is America though, and I believe in extreme individual freedom. Therefore, in general I believe it should be legal I suppose. Though, I can understand why someone would make it illegal.
I didn't say it was harmless, I know it isn't. But there isn't anything that is harmless. Afterall, did you know more people have been killed by toilet seats than sharks?
Not really, just been doing work all day and detailed the story The Call of Cthulhu to a friend as he wanted a taster of H.P. Lovecraft before reading him. You?
Hey, I've played that rpg before. Well, not really, but I know someone who has. I stood up until 3 last night, so I pretty much slept until 1. After that I tried to finish my Allen Foster book which actually just became a solid C of a book, but so far I haven't had any luck.
Sounds a bit like my day, aside from I did an Assignment instead of reading (which I would have liked). You should try the story The Call of Cthulhu, I don't care for the game but I love that story!
Y'know what? I think I will, specially since I didn't know it was a book until now. I've got this novel I am meaning to start for the third time as well. I can never get past the prologue, but I have already planned out what'll happen through like chapter 2. I know, doesn't sound like a lot but I've had it going since like two weeks ago. I'm a major procrastinator, so I have to seriously force myself to do anything. Not like I don't WANT to do it, just starting is the problem y'know?
I know what you mean, I've got this book, I love it, but either I don't have enough time for it, or I read a little bit and since I'm in the middle of a chapter I just stop after a few pages. I'm going to read it fully when I get some more time to myself. It's The Greatest Show on Earth: The Evidence for Evolution by Richard Dawkins. I love it.
Never read it, though I haven't read too many books. Just recently really got involved in reading, before I would just be goofing off with friends y'know?
Heh, we all goof around, it's a part of growing up. I've just always enjoyed reading, though before 15 I hardly read at all aside from the kids books everyone reads.
Ah, heh I suppose I grew up two years slower. Yeah, I've always done well in English. Whether it was reading comprehension, (( Something so easy in my opinion that it shouldn't even be tested. )), though while I'm certainly not adept with grammar I'd say that I wasn't a complete moron about it. I'd say the first real reason that I expanded outside of the classroom to pick up a book was that I didn't care too much for the selection that was picked for the classes. I've always enjoyed the futuristic science fiction, (( Though, I've enjoyed pretty much anything as long as it has interesting characters and a good plot of course. )), and at a higher reading level y'know.
I know what you mean. I always liked things set in the real world, as I can relate to it more I suppose, and I didn't mind the books at my school; but I didn't care much for them either.
Well, heh maybe that's a technique they use to try and persuade the students to go out and read for themselves. Picking novels that are mildly interesting but that are not going to make you fall in love with them. Though, having awesome A grade novels is an impossibility in an extended audience I assume. We all have different tastes y'know? So, it's like they get a generic brand, instead of the name.
It works for me, unless somebody actually finds a name for it. I think I just felt like saying lame. I don't know.
Hey all. How is tonight going? I am on the couch with the laptop and it hurts too much to get up; I doubt I'm going anywhere for a while.
Hey Kyle. I'm sitting at the table playing games on the internet while I'm supposed to be studying for the ACT.
hey, it's not going to badly at all. I'm with you on the not getting up off the couch, although it's because I'm feelin' lazy.
