I love having tiny snippets of stories and no idea where to take them...

Yeah that blows, I finally got one out today because Josh (Colwriter) and Cog basically forced a story out of me haha. Being stuck in story pieces land sucks.

I sort of visualized one going one direction, but its wandering in a totally different one. I'm not sure if I should cut it down and shape it into what I want, or see where it goes...

How did they force one out of you? We should try similar tactics on Mandie ;)

Why don't you just write it the direction its going to see what new ideas arise from it, and if it doesn't work out you can delete it and work with the original idea more.

They just annoyed me till I finally finished one in time for the little contest or whathaveyou on here. It's all good for me. Josh kept sending me messages on it, so I guess that's the tactic. Try it on Mandie haha, I can't really because I don't know her.

I hate trying to find venues to publish my work. That is the hardest part, finding a good fit.

I haven't been able to try that sort of thing yet. I'm still pretty new I guess. So I couldn't even tell you where to start.

You could try, but I doubt it would work. I need to be accountable for the work, and if I'm not, I'm never gonna get around to doing it. lol

Have to wake up six tomorrow and go to two jobs, so in other words, I'm out of here.

You all have a good night.

I will mail you a cheeto each time you finish a chapter. That way the deliciousness of cheetos will provide positive reinforcement for you and your career will take flight!

I'm not doing anything for Christmas really, either. Just going home to visit the fam for a couple days. Not really doing anything until New Years. And then I'm gonna party TOO hard. hahaha

Sometimes "doing anything big" isn't all it's cracked up to be. Last Christmas we were supposed to go to Hawaii--but we had a big snowstorm and our flight was canceled; we ended up not being able to reschedule. Then we were thinking of going to D.C. this Christmas to see family, but we luckily decided against it since our flight would've been canceled again because of all the snow they've had there. We're having family visit us instead.

So moral of the story: sometimes doing nothing is a big win.

I'm having a goose at a friend's place in Wuppertal... ...well, not the whole goose, but you get the picture. Geese are the European turkeys. ;)

And, it's on Christmas Eve. In Germany you do everything on the 24th... ...presents, feast, going to church if you're so inclined (which hardly anyone is, Germans aren't really church goers as much as Americans). We hardly do anything on the 25th, we couldn't care less. It's like a normal free day to us, we tend to rent a few good movies, order a pizza and have a good time. 26th is the same, though I have my birthday that day, so for me it's always a little different.

    Very pretty, Sweets.

Looks like it was a slow night on the forum. Anyone else lurking at the moment?

What are you up to on this snowy Monday?

Edit: Okay, I give myself minimum goals per day for how much I do when I'm typing something I wrote by hand, so I just did a word count to see how close I was to that goal. My word count was 6666.
