Actually, according to the modern progressive point of view, what evil we do is due to psychological ailments and past influences, treatment by others. Hitler’s actions were not his own fault. (I have my doubt about that though:D)

The Pro-Bowl is on ESPN. And I don't have cable here. Sooo I'm watching Desperate Housewives. Because that's what real men do.

    Worse yet, I'm liking it.

Have to write a paper about why Faulkner's The Sound and the Fury is actually an optimistic piece of writing.... ha. ha. HA. Where am I going to even START with this.

One of my favorites! Though I can't offer you any advice- I'm not sure how a novel narrating the devastating fall of a family can be optimistic...

My thoughts precisely. The only optimistic character is Dilsey, because she's kind of the rock of the family... Maybe I could argue how Quentin's suicide is actually optimistic, because he escaped his messed-up life by drowning himself?

.....On second thought, how about not.

I'd help, but that book is still on my to-be-read shelf, among 100+ others.

Of course we DO have a rule about getting homework help on the site. A hint or two is okay, but that's all.

It's really a great book. Oftentimes difficult, but when you get into the swing of it and start understanding the story more, it's brilliant. Granted, I read it in English class, so I had a lot of help understanding it.

Lol, it's seriously alright. I'm not asking anyone to write my paper for me. I'm just saying how difficult this is going to be.

It may seem unkind, but the best help we can give with homework is to have the person do the work. Every once in a while, the flashbulb ignites, and the student has that Wow! moment. The flash is brightest when you work for it.

    :D Lol

Just tuckered out from working this weekend. Busy couple of days. But happy, for no particular reason, which is nice.

I'm dooing really well tonight, Chim. The last few days have been a little rough, but I'm feeling particularly twitterpated this evening, so for now, I'm quite happy. :)

Ahhh....twitterpated....I like that word. I like the feeling of being twitterpated, too. ;)

I am glad you are well and good.

    -dreamy sigh-
It's just frustrating because I can't tell him how I feel. I don't want to scare him off, no matter how amazing of a guy he is and no matter how doubtless it is he feels the same if not very close. I can't be the first.
    Just hafta wait.

There should be a law that states, "If you do not feel well, stay home!".

I really do not want to go to class now. :(
