"Poker Face" by Lady GaGa. This might be her best song to date, in my opinion. Love that line in the first verse: LoveGame intuition, play the cards with Spades to start; And after he's been hooked I'll play the one that's on his heart
Her best song to date? Not saying much there, are you? Not Unlike the Waves by Agalloch. Folk-metal, RAWR!
Hey now! It's not very nice to criticize someone's taste in music, is it? And dont get me wrong either. I like metal just as much as either of you do. I was listening to Rammstein, Dimmu Borgir, and Impelliteri for most of the day. Everyone here can vouch for my metal addiction. And Agreen is the most metal person I know on this site, and he likes GaGa too. GaGa may be bubblegum pop, but she makes GOOD bubblegum pop. Inventive, catchy songs and good vocals to boot. And there's no denying she's creative. Besides, her ultimate job is entertainer. And I am thoroughly entertained. xx "Way of Life" by The Viceroy and Ehren Stowers. This is from the trance genre. I love all music. Trance really captures my heart, but I like death metal, symphonic metal, punk rock, underground rap, and bubblegum pop like GaGa and Ke$ha too.
I wasn't putting down GaGa (never listened to her), I was just making an inside joke that I could tell the guy above me listened to metal before I even read what song he put. Blind Guardian - Into the Storm
Lady GaGa is a spectacular pop artist. She's not bubblegum pop though - that genre is reserved for bands like Aqua and Toybox. I can't stop listening to Kesha's TiK ToK, it's such a stupid song, I absolutely love it.
I got that song with this free song download thing....big mistake....can't stop listening to it...and the indie kid in me dies a little every time I play it...the only thing that bugs me is how outdated her references are....P Diddy and Mick Jagger? Srsly?
Lady Gaga owns. I have a soft spot for electro-pop, and she's one of my favourites. I also like Euro-pop, especially French, so... Coheed and Cambria, The Broken.
I was just having a bit of fun I dislike most pop music, not out of snobbery bu because I just dislike the sound. I actually dislike much of metal as well; it is really doom and sludge metal that captures my attention. That being said: Dixie Whiskey by EyeHateGod.
