    Just check the range and price of books available before buying any hardware like that. I have a Sony eReader lying dormant because none of the books I want are available in eBook form. I don't know about the Kindle, but it has had some negative feedback for books being deleted after purchase. This probably belongs in a new thread, but I'm not sure where -- I expect Cog will be along in a moment to tell us.

    I read a lot. And lately, like in my past I read more than one book at a time. My reading list is as follows;

    Colin Powell - My American Journey
    Loamhedge by Brian Jacques
    Mass Effect Ascension by Drew Karpyshyn
    Dragons of a Fallen Sun by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman

    Typically i read one chapter or five pages of one and move onto the next. Has anyone read these? What did you think of it?

    Still reading Sophie's Choice by Styron, and recently finished Spiritwalker: Messages from the Future by Wesselman.

    I also borrowed from the library, The Sky is Everywhere by J. Nelson. It's on a little device called a Playaway that's about the size of an Ipod, or maybe smaller, about a couple ounces, and is pre-loaded with the audio book. It looks like this:

    Just finished with Frank Herbert's Dune. I was very impressed by it and enjoy his writing style.

    Read half of Eoin Colfer's Artemis Fowl today, I'll finish it tomorrow. Can't say I care for it much, but I think this is because I'm too old. Still has some redeeming qualities to enjoy in it though, so I continue reading it.

    For the next few weeks I'll be continuing my study from the Norton Anthology of American Literature: Volume E and also reading the second and third books of Frank Herbert's Dune series (they're combined in the book I have).

    Lots on my pallet to enjoy. =]

    I really want to read Dune and it's sequels, but I just haven't got around to them yet.

    And on Artemis Fowl... I like the series, but it's nothing special. I've read all five or six of them, and I'm sorta looking forward to the next one in July, but it's never caught my attention like Harry Potter.

    Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I know I'm a bit behind, but I'm going through them all for the first time. They're quite entertaining.
