I had a dream where I got a virus, and it set my desktop background to a picture of Garfield in a purple suit.

Still haven't gotten over that :(.

I have a lot of dreams about viruses/adware/malware etc in general, though not recently.

I had a nightmare that there was a gigantic, evil killer rabbit with a creepy grin out to kidnap children on Easter Sunday.

Get away from me, creepy bunny man! :( The horror of my childhood returns...

I had a dream that I lived in a log cabin in a place like the Highlands in Scotland, and every day (in my dream about 3 days past) I would drive into a small village that was void of any people and steal food and other items.

I had a wierd dream the other night. Basically I fought with a random bloke in the street.

He was muscular with a sleevless jacket, I think it was made out of denim. I knew (somehow) that I had taken a beating and I was bleeding with broken bones. He was in an equally bad condition, bleeding heavily (around the face) and looking like I had ripped him to shreds.

I think I lost because at one point he was on top of me laying punches into my chest. It was really wierd because I could see the punches he made, the body reacted as it should, but because it was a dream there was no pain which was what made it feel wierd.

It fizzled out after that point.

Wouldn't surprise me if he did write something like that.

Anyway, new dream which is bizarre and scary like the previous one I had.

    I was turning into glass.

    Don't ask me how.

I have a lot of weird dreams, and lots stick with me, this one in particular was quite strange.

Woke up and came downstairs and the TV was on and my family has the sliding glass door in the family room open and something outside looks weird. The news is saying something about the space shuttle, how the pilots are stuck. The actual caption read "Space Shuttle F@#!ed." I thought that was funny later.

So anyway we go outside and my family is sitting all in their chairs on the patio like we do when we watch lightning or fireworks and everyone's just got this calm and sober attitude. I look up at the atmosphere and it's turning into ice. Huge chunks are falling off and I the cracking of it's movement was quite loud, every now and again and chunk would fall near our town and my parents would say "There goes that guy!" or "There goes his house!"

Go back inside and the news is reporting that some science experiment caused the sky to freeze, and then later, that in several hours the atmosphere would be completely frozen and the sun would no longer penetrate the ice.

    That made me pretty sad.

Once I dreamed I was going to Argentina with my friends (which I am... A week and a day from now) but I forgot my ID. So we're already halfway through our flight, but the pilot notices I haven't got my ID with me... So he stops the plane, and we all have to get out and go to Argentina by bus! xD

I have bizarre dreams quite frequently. My imagination runs completely wild with things. Not always a good thing. haha

One of my favorite dreams was this: I was in a room that had pillows all over the walls. There was a classic car suspended from the ceiling by steel cables and I was there with a couple other people I didn't know. In my dream they were my friends. One of them offered me three jellybeans. Blue, yellow, and red. He said if I ate them I would be able to fly. I did and I flew it and it was freakin' amazing. One of my favorite ever dreams.

I had a really strange dream.

For some reason my friends ended up killing Tyler Lautner and Robert Pattinson. Well first they killed Pattinson and then Tyler came along and uncovered what we did and... well he turned up dead. I remember having to dig their graves. It was in my sisters old room and apparently the floor was dirt. Well we had burried Robert early and we started digging him up so we can put Tyler in there. I can even remember what the dirt looked like(more like them chocolate rice krispise(sp) then anything)

Later on I was at this Camp thing and I was freaking out that someone is going to know I was involved in covering up their murders and such. I also remembered thinking, very clearly "What do you think they will do for Breaking Dawn?"

Later I was in this cafeteria with the friends and everything was back to normal as usual. Except I was still freaking out that it was going to be on my mind years and years and years until someone discovers the bodies and I'd get sent to prison or something. I debated on whether or not I should just go to the police and confess everything. I mean I only tried to help get rid of the bodies!

But before I made a decision I woke up.

I think this was a combination of watching almost the entire season 1 of Misfits and trying to get through the Twilight movie.

First dream in a long time that I can remember so clearly.

I had a dream last night that, though it wasn't strange in anyway, it was just abnormal. I dreamt I was in a church looking at a man dressed all in black; suddenly I felt an overwhelming wave of pleasure and the man in black fled, and I ran outside and woke up.

How is it that every time I think about my stories (or write them), I dream about them? I had a dream that one of my characters (who somehow grew a foot and a half taller than how I envisioned him) was doing his usual thing, but for some reason, he was only wearing breeches.

Did I somehow skip his loosing his shirt or...

Ugh, this is what happens when I have a bit to drink before bed. >____>

Dreaming is how the mind cleans ut te day's mental clutter. All the thoughts are swept into a huge pile. Then the mind pulls out pieces, jams them together to see how the fit and interrelate, and files them with all the associative links before shoving the bits that don't relate to anything into the junk closet.

Dreams arise from te mind trying out associative links, so thought and memory pieces that even remotely fit together get tried in a variety of combinations. Some make sense, some don't, and what you remember after waking is only a tiny fragment of what actually gets tried out.

There's really no telling. I had a dream I was being stalked by a vulgar man on youtube after writing a part where one of my MCs is being stalked. :p

    lol.

Interesting how the mind works, and how we desperatly try to peice together the meaning afterwards.

It is very interesting. What I find even more interesting is that we all desperately want there to be a deeper meaning to our dreams. It's interesting. I'm curious now what drives that.

Maybe it's just our desire to know the reasons behind everything. Like why you dreamnt about being stalked by a guy and I dreamnt that my MC was shirtless for some reason. Some say it signifies something, like maybe the shirtless MC signifies my desire to be fit or something.

However, I do think dreams are just that, dreams. :)

It's the nature of the human mind to try to relate pieces of data, and to associate meaning. The brain remembers data associatively - only short term memory can recall facts with no relation to other thoughts (and even there, associations are formed with existing data). The dreaming process is necessart for organizing and transferring short term memory to long term storage.

I sat in on a number of classes on both Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Psychology at MIT. Fascinating stuff. :)

I had a weird dream and when I woke up I thought it might be a good idea for a story. Too bad it's not a story I'd enjoy writing. Now I cant remember it at all.

Usually I dont dream but when I do there are usually good ideas for a story or at least questions that lead to good ideas.

Ok, so...since we got to Nevada, I have dreamt about kids every night. Not just any kids. Our kids. This wouldn't be terribly disturbing...I suppose everyone has occasional dreams about having kids...except in every dream, something terrible is happening to said kids. Seriously, it's starting to freak me out. All night...every night...for four days. Dreaming about my kids dying, being kidnapped, being tortured, etc.

Grrrrrr. I think I'm going to lose my mind.

I've heard that. I've always thought how the mind works is utterly fascinating.

I agree that generally that's all it is. I think sometimes we dream certain things because we are stressed or upset. I've noticed my dreams tend to take on the tone of my mind in waking times. I've also heard that aside from dreams being a way for your brain to sort data that it also uses dreams as a way to work out how to survive/deal with certain scenarios.

    Dare you ask?
I read somewhere that you forget more than 50% of your dream the minutes after you wake up. Which kind of sucks because I usually try to take some meaning from dreams that seem to show to me stuff.

Has anyone ever had a deja-vu dream? Like you know you've done something almost to the letter and then you realize you've dreamed it before. Creeps me out a bit, but, yea :)

Not sure. Well I had a Dream that sorta continued from a different one. It was something about this Horror Movie Theater and some movie called Live(I later learned it was Live as in Live TV. Showing a bunch of people getting killed, different cast each showing too!) Anyways sometime after that dream I dreamt about it again. It was a different location I think and the general display cases were different too. But it was the same movie theater.

Though I think I have had a few dreams that I have had several times. Just can't remember them. BUt I suppose now I know why. Then again most of my dreaming just seems to be flashes and images. Sometimes a 'minute' or so in some place.

Can anyone actually see peoples faces in their dreams? For the most part I can never see faces. Especially if they are people I know and not just people I dreamt of. It seems like I am always looking elsewhere or they are just to obscure to actually see.

I have a recurring dream that I have experienced at least four times in my life. It's not exactly scary, but it's kind of disturbing how spot-on it is.

Usually I don't remember my dreams. It bugs me, because I often wake up with them fresh on my mind, but by the time I go to write them down I've forgotten.
